Wifaqul Ulama urges Muslims in Britain to attempt to sight the Moon for Rabiut-Thani 1440 on the evening of FRIDAY the 07th of DECEMBER 2018. This will be the 29th of Rabiul-Awwal 1440. The  Hilaal for Rabiut-Thani 1440 was not sighted in the UK or anywhere else in the world including Morocco and South Africa.

Wifaqul Ulama Shura have therefore decided that the month of Rabiul-Awwal 1440 will complete 30 days. 1st day of Rabiut-Thani 1440 is on Sunday, the 09th of December 2018.

Keep in mind that in Islam, the new day starts at sunset so technically Rabiut-Thani 1440 will begin after sunset on Saturday.
