Is Trump a one-off phenomenon OR a long term symptom.
?So there was no Blue Tsunami in the Mid terms, it was more like a blue ripple. The senate and Gubernatorial elections are more of a clear indication of nation’s mood and Trump was able to hold off the Democratic challenge (in Florida and elsewhere).
More on this, later
America is not a liberal country like most countries in Europe but it is a Christian/Conservative heartland. The liberal/hard left candidates will not win, Bernie Sanders was/is popular but will not have won.
Russian efforts boosted Trump but they also boosted Bernie to polarise the country.
Democrats need a “white Christian” to run against Trump in 2020:

BUT the Media and the dogooders may go with Beto

Or Kamala Harris

They “may win” and a lot can change between now and 2020 but the best candidate to take on Trump is Joe Biden, as things stand today.
But the Media and people will force Democrats to make a bad choice and go with a popular likeable candidate or even a qualified candidate and it will not work like it didn’t work with Hillary Clinton.
It will not work with Bernie Sanders or Elizabeth Warren.
Beto is a nice guy and he can skateboard but you want Joe Biden who kick Trump!
Kamala/Beto together is a good combination if they can get nasty.
This cannot be undone and I am sure it will be greatly appreciated.
