Recently the trustees in my local jama masjid have installed CCTV cameras inside the masjid. They cite that it is the need of the hour.
I need to know the shariah point of view in this regard. The setup naturally includes a TV set for monitoring which is installed in one of the rooms inside the masjid.
I only need the answer from what the deobandi ulema have to say in this matter. Kindly do not give any replies from salafi or barelvi or any other deviated sources
