Wifaqul Ulama urges Muslims in Britain to attempt to sight the Moon for Muharram 1440 on the evening of Monday the 10th of September 2018. This will be the 29th of Dhul-Hijjah 1439. Moon sighting results should be reported to Wifaqul Ulama,  you can notify us via our Email, Twitter, Facebook or by calling +447956589613.

Moonsighting Predictions (Made Easy):


  1. Moon was not sighted in Australia or Sri Lanka so it would have been difficult to see it in India and Pakistan
  2. Moon has been sighted in Mauritius & Reunion which means it can be seen in Africa, Europe & Americas

Its really that simple!
