And what exactly is it that you have seen which suggest that Pakistanis are more concerned about the local candidate?

National trends were available only on al-Jazeerah and BBC urdu.
Locals were reporting and discussing about a fulaan candidate is ahead by a few hundred votes. No where we got what is happening at national level, which party is getting how many seats etc. And state assembly status was missing.

Let's say what you saw is exactly what it means, how does that prove that the common man is concerned only with a local candidate? That only proves that the mainstream media is concerned with local candidates only. Not only that it also means that the election commission of Pakistan is a useless institution which is not able to get results out in time or is deliberately not getting the results out in time. Which is a more correct assessment since this is exactly how the rigging of results takes place. Prevent the results from coming out before TPTB can "manage" them.

Another thing that you might not know. The party which most of Pakistan wants to see in the National and Provincial assemblies, i.e. PTI was robbed of its election symbol a few days before, in a sham trial, which was covered by the Western media as well. So IK instructed the party candidates to take part in elections as independent candidates. And the Pakistani public voted for these independent candidates. Probably that's why it seems to you that independent candidates are getting more focus. Out of the 265 NA seats, 180 have been won by these independent candidates. But since they are PTI-backed candidates, that simply means PTI has actually won the NA elections by a 2/3rd majority. However, the Election Commission has not been "allowed" to let out these actual results by the faasiq military criminals.

The number of seats won by the PTI backed candidates can be proven by the form 45 given to all these candidates by the polling stations on polling day. That's the actual source of truth when it comes to elections. If the Pak judiciary wasn't compromised to the very last person, all PTI had to do was take these forms as proof to the courts and all those seats that had been taken from them by force would have been alloted back to them making their number 180.

However, now, if the public wants to see their preferred party in power, they will have to fight a war with the criminal military mafia. Which I know for a fact that they will never do, but that is what is needed. Imran Khan being a pacifist will never be able to take this required step and hence will never come to power. Infact chances are he will be poisoned in jail.

BTW, I know from your stance about the Covid scam that you trust the kuffar more to be truthful, so I recommend reading the statements of the US State Department and the European Union regarding Pakistan's elections.

You mean to say to piety won't change a person.

If a person spends time with usools, reformation is guaranteed. Any deviation, efforts can get wasted.

The very first intention that I need reformation is a very big result

These results are being tweeted by PTI's official handle and PTI's social media team as well. Because these are based on the Form 45 that candidates physically possess. In the next few days you will know of 100s of cases being filed by PTI in the courts to correct the results. Of course the courts are in control of the criminal military mafia so nothing will come of it but that's what PTI does. Follows due course no matter how useless it is.

PTI is not a party of angels. It is another political party, a political leader will never hesitate to lie. They can manipulate and present half truth.

Of course. PTI can lie. But the faasiq criminal military mafia is truthfully managing everything. I would expect nothing less from someone who believes that whatever the kuffar say is the truth.

Believe whatever you want to but your opinion doesn't count towards anything. Especially since you have no connection or idea about the affairs of Pakistan. At least nothing more than the lies fed by the mainstream media.

If the election results were really legitimate, the US and the European Union would have sent congratulatory messages to the winning candidates. Instead they are warning about the dubious conditions in which the elections were held and have withheld their acceptance of these elections as yet.

Bottom line PTI won the election by a landslide. The official result is fabrication.

Nawaz Sharif is hated.

Bhutto/Zardari clan are hated.

Maulana Fazlur Rahman is considered to be a clever politician but not trustworthy.

The MQM is hated and is considered to be a criminal mafia.

The Generals are despised.

The British and American establishments who supported the rigging of the election in order to keep Khan and his anti-western and patriotic views away from leadership. Are now speaking with a forked tongue only because western media has reported wide spread corruption.

Both Saudis and U.A.E. want Nawaz Sharif.

Modi in India likewise has a personal friendship with Nawaz Sharif would prefer him in power.

Jamaat e Islami who have alot of highly educated and competent people as per usual fail to fight an efffectve campaign.
Do not seem to get the Media coverage that others do.

Imran Khan despite his flaws and failed policies, is considered to be a well meaning and patriotic leader. With a global prescence and dignified leader on the world stage, and a champion against Corruption on the National level.

Thats the long and short of it.

It won't be a surprise, if IK joins hands with PPP. PPP will get better share in government here.

Nawaz sharif has to flee again.

It will be very surprising, his entire political career is based on anti-corruption. The PPP are even more corrupt then Nawaz Shareef.

The Zardaris are universally hated, there is wide spread belief in Pakistan that Asif Ali Zardari had Benazir assasinated. I dont know whether that is true or false but it is common belief in Pakistan.

Bilawal Bhutto is an object of ridicule for the masses, although he is articulate in English. He has not bothered to learn Urdu properly. When he does try speaking it he it is with a heavy accent sounds like he is gay, transgender. Consequently there is a widespread belief that he is homosexual.

Here is IK on Bilawals Urdu.

MQM is not hated in Karachi just like Nawaz Sharif is not hated in Punjab and PPP is not hated in Sindh. Karachi still has a soft corner for MQM (minus Altaf Hussain). Watch their today's victory show at Jinnah ground.

Jamat e Islami has a history of making political blunders. Their campaign and efforts were remarkable and it was a shock to see that they've failed to win a single seat in the national assembly. Someone said they have this curse associated with them because of blasphemy of Sahabah in their roots.

Thank you for the clarification my apologies, I should have made a disclaimer in my posts. I live and have been raised in the U.K. and in the course of the last 40 years I have only made a few short visits to the country for a few weeks at a time with gaps of several years between each visit. So my comments are those of an outside observer, and are as you have pointed totally of kilter in some areas.

Well so those people at MQM rally turned up on their own volition? I do remember the days when hundreds of thousands of people used to turn up at MQM rallies, who frankly looked liked they had turned up under duress and due to intimidation, and threats. And then forced to listen to the drunken rambling speeches of Altaf Hussain, who would call in over the phone.

Khayr the fate of Pakistan will not change, until the people put the collective interest first. Voting for a candidate for some kind of financial or personal benefit, voting for a candidate because their father used to vote for the same candidate. Voting for a candidate because they are the son, daughter, grandchild of well known figure of the past. The ones who can be excused are those who are forced to vote for a particular candidate under threats of violence and a social boycott of some kind.

People need to be educated on democracy the level of naivety is beyond absurd. Well from watching on Pakistani news channels you get comments in Sindh like "My vote is for Benazir, it will always be for Benazir". Okay but she has been dead for 16 years, she cannot help you. Or you will get
comments across the board when the corruption of a particular candidate they are supporting is pointed out, " So what if he has stolen some money here and there all the candidates steal money".

As for Jamaat e Islami, maybe they are cursed but then the question is why are the more spiritually, morally bankrupt parties not, cursed?

Incidentally only Pakistan politician, I have seen at a live gathering was from Jamaat e Islami, here in my local city in the U.K circa 1998, the event was. in support of Kashmir, the guest speaker was the late Qazi Hussain Ahmed the then leader of Jamat e Islami, He gave a speech in English, I do recall being very surprised that an elderly politician from Pakistan had such a good command of English, and he was able to cite western academics, literary figures, and politicians verbatim to make his points.
