You cannot know until you come to Pakistan the kind of distrust, bordering on hatred, that young people have for "Maulanas". And these are the people who wouldn't know the difference between the righteous and the non-righteous ulema. They discriminate against most people with beards and religious garb.

Having said that, Maulana Fazlur Rahman is not without fault. There are things circulating about him that seem to have a high probability of being true, that I wouldn't like to mention. This has been talked about before on this forum and it's not a good discussion.

I used to think that but it's a little more complicated than that. The younger generation practically worships the kuffar at this point. And due to the worldly success of kuffar, they believe if they copy them they'll end up ruling the world like them. So this honesty, integrity that the younger generation is exhibiting is what they think is the reason the kuffar are on top. So they end up copying them. All this is possible due to the brainwashing through the means of kuffar. Television, movies, etc.

Of course Shaytan plays the major part in it. Making the culture, and ways of kuffar seem superior to us. "araasta karna" as we say in Urdu.

I shall be careful while discussing internal matters of our neighbors.

I quote from Ali Mian Nadvi RA:

اہل اقتدار تک دین پہنچائو یا اہل حق کو اقتدار تک پہنچائو۔

Either present deen to people in power or send ahle haq to seat of power.

This is what Maulana Tariq Jameel sab is doing. IK needs knowledge of deen (reformation). Maulana Fazlur rahman already has, so maulana won't need MTJ.

Note: some one in present govt was claiming, we won't need IMF support, barakah will prevail because ahle haq are in power............. Day dreaming.

Bismillah.

Think of it this way you may get a Pir/Shaykh who , is corrupt but amongst his followers he will have mureeds who are people of Taqwa and are sincere.

Such is the case with Maulana Fazlur Rahman he is a corrupt politician. Have not seen him do anything for the benefit of Islam or implementation of Islam in Pakistan. Instead he has made deals and alliances with morally corrupt politicians to get a seat in cabinet. And he is also accused of fleecing millions of dollars he is labelled Maulana “ Diesel” for a reason.

Imran Khan despite being ignorant of Deen has more integrity then all the other politicians. And more ghayrah when it comes to defending Islam against the policies of the west.

If Imran Khan becomes staunchly religious, then given his popularity he may have a huge impact in bringing many of his millions of followers towards the Deen.

I presume that is the prime reason for Maulana Taariq Jameel In doing Dawah to him.

Politically out of those politicians who attach themselves to the Deen. In recent years the only one I have seen in recent years who was highly respected for his personal integrity even by the extreme secularists and liberals in Pakistan was Sayyid Munawar Hassan former leader of Jamaat e Islami who passed away in 2020.

And ALLAH knows best.

He is accused of smuggling diesel to Afghanistan during the reign of Benazir, which pocketed him a lot of money and created a shortage of diesel in Pakistan. Of course this isn't proven, but people in Pakistan are convinced of it. Especially the journalists who claim to have been shown evidences by intelligence agencies.

Though these days, Maulana is infamous for a lot more than just diesel smuggling. Things not appropriate to talk about.

Basically we need another figure to rise up in Pakistan to lead the Islamic effort on the political front. The longer that Maulana Fazlur Rehman remains, the more distant, and disillusioned the young generation becomes from Islam.

If Pakistan had proper anti-corruption laws proper system of justice. Maulana Fazlur Rahman and many of his party would be in Jail.

So the question should be asked of those Ulemah as to why they continue to support Maulana Fazlur Rahman and his party.

As the respected Brother has pointed out. Maulana Fazlur Rahman has done a lot of damage to the image of Islam in Pakistan. Especially amongst the Youth.

If ulemah are going to engage in politics under the banner of Islam. Then
their personal integrity and moral behaviour must be beyond reproach and question.

They cannot and should not talk about Deen in one breath. Whilst being financially morally corrupt and crooked.

If MFR is corrupt then how come there are no charges against him considering all other major leaders have been arrested or charged for corruption?

Neither fazlur rahman nor IK are related to me. I didn't find anything on net to prove allegation against both. These are Hearsay....

  • The person who first published allegation against fazlur rahman has apologized to Fazlur rahman
  • Imran had once defended Fazlur rahman in this issue, when both were on same side.
  • This is not invisible transaction, here, it is claimed that permits were sold, so documents exist, where are they.
  • Imran had 4 years, his party's regional government had 8 years, why there was no investigation... implies, "politics mein sab jayaz hai. "hearsay is allowed" "slander is allowed"
  • Fazlur rahman is ready to face any independent inquiry.

Allegation of IK being a yahudi agent is also hearsay....

It stinks everywhere.

In Pakistan no major politician gets convicted of corruption.

If you hang on long enough the corruption cases get buried. Or the individual gets back in power and clears themselves of wrong doing.

And if you have strong links to I.S.I. Pakistani intelligence you won’t get charged in the first place.

Imran Khans accusations against particular individuals in Pak army In trying to assasinate him are unsubstantiated as well. And he Is no longer accusing the Americans of removing him power.

Also interesting how the Hindutva and BJP supporters who despised Imran Khan and his politics, are suddenly all over social media supporting him. I presume they feel he will destroy the Pakistan’s military power. Or are hopeful his machinations will lead to civil and ethnic conflicts leading to the break up of Pakistan.

Of course there's no proof. But that's beside the point that I was making. The matter is now in the court of public opinion and that public opinion is not in favor of Maulana at all. Furthermore, it is damaging the cause that Maulana is presumably leading out in the country. The representation of Islam on the political front. What do the TJ say about something like this? That when wearing a white cloth you have to be more careful about getting a stain on it because that will be more visible. So anyone representing Islam on a front like this should be even more weary about what he does.

Whether there is proof or not, we need another person to take charge of this front. One that the common public can associate with positively.
