بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ

السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ

In order to prepare for the sighting of the cresecent for Ramadhan we have taken a number of steps. Centres across Britain and France will be open for public to attempt to sight the Moon. Royal Greenwich Observatory will be streaming the sighting of Ramadhan crescent for the first time in the history of Britain.

France has been selected to mitigate for adverse weather conditions in Britain.

Ramadhan 1439 Moonsighting will be on Wednesday the 16th of May 2016 which will be the 29th of Sha'baan 1439.
