CONCLUSION:
Wet-cupping therapy is effective for reducing systolic blood pressure in hypertensive patients for up to 4 weeks, without serious side effects. Wet-cupping should be considered as a complementary hypertension treatment, and further studies are needed.
jazakallah khair for your concern and advice. at the moment i am not on any medication. i have borderline hypertension. i am seeing my GP today for further tests. inshallah i might not need medication. but i definitely need to change my eating and lifestyle habits. need to take up cardiovascular exercise as brother muadh suggested.
