Why cant I download the pdf without being a member?
Mainly because of bandwidth hoggers, hotlinking, spam bots etc. Too much work to detect all the dodgy works on the internet nowadays. I can enable it for guests if there's enough requests but it would mean those dreaded visual confirmations.

Wait a minute.....

In third and four Rakah of Fard Salah instead of reciting the whole Soorah Fatiha say, "Subhan Allah" three times and go to Ruku, . Make sure "Subhan Allah" has been recited three times properly, do not rush. This exeption is only for Fard.

What is the daleel for this? :O because what I know, Fatiha is an absolute must for every rakaah (never heard before it being mustahab). And can Shafi'ie people do this?

Also I've read the same thing bajillion years ago about salaah that in Shafi'ie madhab you don't need to sit for tahiyyat in rakaah 2 , i.e. not fardh but I'm not sure....But I'll never dare doing this!

17. If a person does not read Surah Faatihah in the latter two rakaats but merely reads Sub'haanallah three times, even then his salaat will be proper. However, it is preferable to recite Surah Faatihah. And if he reads nothing at all and merely remains silent, even then there is no harm and the salaat will be proper.

Taken from Bahishti Zewar (Hanafi Fiqh Kitaab)

[quote="Coloratura"]And can Shafi'ie people do this?

Then one recites the Fatiha (def:w1.16) in every rak'a (n: an integral), whether one is imam, follower, or praying alone.

Yes I appreciate that there is no mentioned hadith book there. The Source I gave is from Darul Uloom Bury UK (Inter-Islam Website) and may also be found in Fazaile A'maal but not confirmed.

Maybe brother Muadh can help with this as he has a PDF on his site.

Daleel is always important as there are many fake Hadith going around, this is why we should be very careful before attributing anything to the Prophet (saw). If I or anyone finds the name of the kitaab from where it originates, then inshaAllah, will post here.

According to the Salafi, the Hadith is not Sahih. But then again, there are many many Hadith books that our Ulama use which the Salafi don't even look at. www.assimalhakeem.net/node/3383

I am not saying that they are wrong, nor am I saying that they are right. Allahu alum.

Answer
Besides in the section of the warnings of salat in Fadail A'mal (pg.47), I haven't seen this hadith in any original hadith source.
