Talk by shaykh hasan ali. Not sure if it's related to the two fraudsters recently exposed but touches upon points i raised in my first post about this ruqya business. He even mentions hijama as another exploited practice. I remember i used to get it done around 2002 guy used to charge me £15 for unlimited and another guy did fee sabillah n said pay what u want. When i used to tell Muslims about it they wernt interested then rio Olympics n kuffar assuie swimmin team done it suddenly like the fools we Muslims are we jumped on bandwagon and even began boasting Islam taught us this 1400 yrs ago despite havin no interest in it. Now 2019 drive around London ul see hijama clinics charging a bomb.

If there's any business minded people on here i got a golden tip for u. Just look at what kuffar are wasting their money on and wot their trends are then copy thst and giv it an Islamic twist. Ul be millionairs.. If anyone does become millionaire then give some sadaqah on my behalf to whatever Muslim nation is suffering

i just read the first few posts on the dopamine thread and you're right my post makes more sense now. i was highlighting all the symptoms not knowing dopamine is the cause and it was intentionally made to waste our time.

you mentioned stuff about dajjal and this is something i dont understand which ive even asked senior uk scholars who too seem stumped. i can understand non muslims following dajjal but i cant see how muslims will fall for a guy who claims to be a messenger/God?

alhamdulillah even though we are riddled with apostates and munafiqeen such as fake imam tawhidi, maajid nawaz, fayaz mughal to name just a few, the vast majority of the ummah even the non practising see them for what they are and no one follows them despite them claiming to be muslims and not making wild claims of being prophets.

similarly even the least practising muslims curse and mock mirza ghulam and hate him for his claims. i boycott scholars if i hear them say something remotely at odds with mainstream ahle sunnah never mind open shirk. so what condition will we have to be in to fall for him?

only thing i can imagine is he steals our imaan first through love of dunya and then by the time he makes his claim we not no imaan to lose or we fall in love with dunya so much and the offers us life of luxury for our obedience or poverty if we dont accept and thus we follow him.

saying all this our master warned us for a reason and thus even though i think like this today by no means shall i become arrogant and think im safe, if he has warned us and called him the biggest of fitna we should ever let our guards down.

also back to social media, some of the points i made is just down to a dease in heart rather than dopamine. take for examle this recent incident. why are so many muslism gloating at their disgace? everyone wants to make thses fulan fulan exposed videos. why? its our equivilent of jeremy kyle and them filthy tabloids who compete in sensatialsing stories and who can give most intimate and private info. it this what islam taught us? prophet gave us the complete opposite instructions.

as i never heard of them iv never donated or been to their ruqya but these are the only two issues if any worth exposing and even then only for those who suffered.

why the faux outrage? most charties are corrupt with ceos earning 6 figure salaries and lavish offices, most ruqya places are charlatans. as for the alleged guy losing his faith this should make us turn to Allah and ask him to protect our imaan. even sahaha went to rasoolullah (saw) with doubts and he clarified. didnt shaykh yasir qadhi come out few years ago he went through agnostic period during uni? why no anger then? as maulana mohammed from masjid umer always says today we have soo much talks books classes knowledge but we lack real ikhlas which is what sahaba and our akaabir had.

(A). As far as the issue with this fake insta couple... Everyone is making exposed videos because they want to attract subscribers to their own channels. More subscribers means more advertising revenue from youtube.

Then you got few others taking the contrarian position...and stating such allegations should not be made publicly its between them Allah...The ones taking the opposite view are also doing it to attract more subscribers.

(B) Then you have other Youtube celebrities who have done cross promotional events with these people...They are now taking a hard position in order to deflect attention and criticism themselves for having endorsed these people on the past.

As for the facts and reality of the situation..Those can be found on Ustadh Moinul Abu Hamzas facebook page. He has been dealing directly with all involved.

You ask questions and answer them yourself too :)

lol i just gave a possibilty but still i find it hard. im the kind of person if someone spoke ill of our akaabir never mind sahaba or insulted likes of mullah omar il call them sellouts and names and never listen to anything they have to say. in that state of mind if i heard someone say guys i am a nabi or i am your rabb something must of happend to me imaan way before for me to even give them attention never mind hear and obey. im not saying i have high imaan but id like to think if even i was offered £100 trillion pounds and offered the presidency of the entire universe having the same power the likes of genghis khan, alexander, umar رضي الله عنه pharoeh, nimrod, trump, zul qurnayn combied i would never reject finality of prophethood or any basic tenents of faith. maybe and Allah never test me like that i could be tempted to sin or do bad stuff but someothing as fundamental as that i rather be tortured to death

It's easier said than done.

With the Imaan of the Sahaba, why did they fear?

Let's not be over confident. We are so weak we only lower our gaze at sisters in Hijab! What about the rest of the women? We are hypocrytes in such matters, no matter what we think of ourselves.

Let pride not over take us.

yes you've summerised the different camps perfectly. apart from that moinul guy why do others feel the need and urge to make videos after videos trying to expose? them two are jus the tip of the ice burg and in a way are lucky. they are young and have ample time to change and start over. imagine being deceived till death without knowing! thats scary.

but as long as you have likes of mufti menk and their social media presence this problem will only grow. laymen will use him as proof its fine and they are using it for dawah/good/islamic/beneficial purposes.

i cant be asked to make a new topic so will mention it here but there really needs to be regulation of the ruqya business. thing is anyone can claim to be a raaqi and they abuse and take advantage of the most vulnerable. imagine your son/daughter had a jinn problem you'd spend every penny helping but could be making it worse by going to fakes.

tassawuf has the same issue, its not regulated much hence you get rise of devient pirs/shaykhs who again take advantage of vulnerable people.

How would you regulate it?
