Allah uses the word Qital in his infinite wisdom and then says it is something you may dislike, but it is good for you.....!

My point is if celebrity scholars or anyone for that matter only talk about jihad when in non combatant meaning it caused more harm and is deception. If he gana mention jihad in context of fighting nafs and generic things then also mention few ayahs hadith and sayings of great sahaba/saints when about qitaal too.

It reminds me of celebrity imams who promote feminist nonsense. Always mention hafith abouts right of wife and being kind to wife bt won't ever ever ever mention rights of husband or hadith about If sajood be allowed it be women making sajood to husbands
