In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh

Americans have confirmed an airstrike on Al Jeena (Aleppo) but denied targeting a Mosque.

Locals have confirmed that this was a Tableeghi Jamaat Markaz and every Thursday night the Tableeghees used to gather here for the past 4 years. See a Video on the destruction and the potential killing of upto 56 Tableeghees in the airstrike.

See Video Footage on Facebook and Twitter.

إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّـا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعون

whats the point? if i was to start a thread on every single masaajid and death and destruction befalling the ummah muftisays website will crash. tbh i avoid reading and watching news its too depressing. but if you're interested then follow likes of bilal abdul kareeem and livesyriaupdate who post regularly on the situation in shaam. saying that situation in burma and horn of africa are even more savage. imagine saudi or pakistan had a famine like sudan and somnalia we wouldnt hear the end of it

It’s seriously overwhelming as a Muslim these days. We seem to be chasing “bad news” and prioritising when to release it.

It’s sickening what I wrote if you think about it. We have known about this but we have to wait for an empty news cycle to release this for maximum impact.  It’s just one bad news after another for the Ummah.

May Allah Ta’ala protect us (Ameen).

It's been like this for years. As soon as we put out one fire another is lit or in some cases relit. Just today a video was released of a zio khinzir beating up an old palestinian lorry driver. Also cowards and zaalimoon up their antics when 'new' atrocities are committed as no one focuses on them. Just dreading to see bashar or Burmese carrying out mass genocide in the next few days whilst world is focused on London.

Ps. Is it me or does it seem as if the moment the saudis allowed the enemies into the hijaz Allah has been punishing us more often and severe. Before 1994 things where no way as bad as this

Following the discussion on Aleppo from the other thread: this was an incident where Americans bombed what they claimed was an Al-Qaeda (HTS) gathering, but it turned out to be a weekly Thursday night Tablighi Ijtema. If the U.S. is allegedly backing HTS, why would they bomb them?

I have no idea, who HTS are and when they formed.

Or whether the Americans targeted this specific group in 2017. But from what I have seen of them previously on Al Jazeera they are not Al Qaidah.

The fact western media are describing them as anti-assad Rebels or opposition rebels. Would mean they do not view them as enemies of America.

There is alot of propaganda on social media on pro-Russia accounts who have also been supporting the Palestinian cause for clout and subscribers rather then strong ideological reasons. These accounts are claiming and take your pick that they are American/Israeli/Turkish backed or backed by all three.

The fact is everything will be revealed in the weeks to come.
If these people are sincere then Alhamdulillah that is a boon. If they are controlled opposition then Syrian people will be no better then they have been just another calamity. And if they are a manufactured Takfiri cult like Daesh then it will just be another disaster one tyrant replaced by another.

At the moment there is alot of confusion the truth of the mattered will be revealed in time. And people are right to be cautious given what we have seen before. We have been stung previously.

Narrated Abu Huraira:

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "A believer is not stung twice (by something) out of one and the same hole."

In-book reference : Book 78, Hadith 160

These groups aren’t new; they’ve been around in one way or another for the past 13 years. Anyone who’s been following Syria over the last decade would already know about them. For example, how many people have heard of the Syrian Salvation Government? It was set up in 2017 and has been running the rebel-held areas in Idlib since then. If people haven’t heard about it, all of this will just seem like new information to them, and they’ll probably stay undecided.
