As salamu alaykum maripat sab.

I believe you are a professor at aligarh Mashaallah. I was wondering if you could answer some questions.

Where can i find a library of free journals/academic articles for a wide range of topics?

If i was to write a book for monetary purposes, what topics would you suggest?

What topics do you suggest Muslims should be well acquainted with in this day and age? A comprehensive list with sub topics would be appreciated if possible.

Would it be possible to interview you and other professionals who you know of and respect in the future? (Maybe over skype or email, whichever you and your colleagues/friends prefer)

My Current Plan


To make a plan one has to first understand the problem one intends to solve.

The problem I have been pondering over turns out to be the issue of encroachment upon Islam the life space of Muslims the world over.

The encroachment is social, cultural, commercial, business, economic, industrial, scientific, technological, military, political as well as physical.

I intend to focus upon Indian situation.

I feel that I can contribute at the academic level only.

But if I can contribute at the level of political activism then I do not intend to hesitate.

I am also not withdrawing from global concernts of Muslims. The situation is such that I want a focus primarily on India and that too academic.

My personal specialization in life is Physics and that has a very distant relationship with the issues that I am taking up or I have been talking about.

In conclusion I am not an expert in the issues that I am taking upon myself.

""Verily man is a transgessor and ignoramus."

In this regard my modus operandi, my strategy, will be to just analyze and clarify academically the issues that I have mentioned above. Bot nationally, in India, as well as globally.

Since I am not expert in all of these disciplines or even a few of them I need all the help that my brothers, and sisters, can render me. In fact I am completely helpless and I do lack resources. In fact apart from the desire to be on the side of the Muslim Ummah I have no provisions for the journey. And I seek your help, cooperation and support.

In the first step I want to organize enough intellectuals and academicians in India to do the academic work in this mission.
I shall appreciate if my brothers and sisters can help in doing the same at the global level too.

The next step will be to find individuals who contribute at the ground level towards solving these problems that I have enumerated above.

Clearly above compartmentalization is simply theoretical - I am not dogmatic about it, please contribute to any aspect that you feel appropriate.

I intend to lead this programme but I am not greedy about leadership. Mutual Islamic consultation is what I intend to adopt as a guiding principle.

Are you there with me? Please do not be afraid, I intend to take no drastic step, not even a controversy - except for what might come naturally.
