I hope you are all in good health and Imaan, InshAllah.

I was just wondering if anybody knew of any good websites where there are lovely Islamic wallpapers with words of wisdom on them. I usually have the blue mosque in Turkey as my desktop, but I've had it for so long.

Any suggestions?

JazakAllah khair for all replies.

Wa Alaykum Salam,

I find custom wallpapers to be most satisfying. Get an image which suits the need and add the quote/text of your choice by editing the image.

Choose high/decent resolution images... such as these...

Masjid 3D
Ka'bah 3D

InshaAllah i'll have a few added to muftisays. Let me know which quotes would be good for desktop wallpapers.

Wa Alaykum Salam,

mashaAllah these are amazing... high quality and very neatly presented.

The 3D images were on www.pixelislam.com i think.

I was just doing a few now for muftisays which should be up by next week but I have to say that the above link have some very nice images for wallpapers so make use of them.

Also, if any users have any wallpaper ideas, post it here. There's a few brothers who can come up with some bright designs if the ideas are present. And as a habit of this site, I will add the name of the person who gave the idea in the image in the small copyright box.

Walaikumasalam

jazakAllahkhayr for the site.

ideas sound good, im sure insha'Allah when everyone pitches in there could be some amazing outcomes...

hmm.. to a random start...

if someone could manage to get a clear picture of a handshake b/w two brothers of different skin color and then have 'Fisabilillah' written on the top of the handshake OR the same graphic image with the hadith quoted that talks about our sins falling off as if they were leaves when we greet our muslim sisters/brothers and shake hands [with respect to mahram rules].. or both 'tex't could be used on one... just an idea..in hopes to get some1 elses mind rolling insha'Allah..

Asalamualaikum warahmatullah,

Wa'iyakum Sister Muslimah_89, i hope to see your ideas soon insha'Allah.

JazakiAllahkhayr Sister Mujahidah an Nafs, but honestly you know better than anyone im not creative at all, the above was in hopes to get others ideas [incase anyone was shy] or wheels turning, so please put yours forth insha'Allah, i'm sure you could bring some brilliant suggestions to the table.

Also... my simple mind doesnt always understand arabic..so far i seem to get it... but translations in brackets/parethasis would be great insha'Allah...also maybe there are others who dont either? Or i could be the only one..khayr..translations please...

Lastly.. if MuftiSays members could come up with multiple ideas for wallpapers and then like Brother Admin stated:

Quote:
"There's a few brothers who can come up with some bright designs if the ideas are present."
If theses ideas were actually constructed, maybe MuftiSays could have its own little Original Wallpaper gallery like sites such as a2youth and all..there already seems to be an avatar section why not a wallpaper section?

Brother Admin...is it possible?

Duas.

Masha'Allah looking good.

The Salaam one does look good, the background is interesting..but becuase its so "eye catching" it might take away from the actual picture/message? what if the handshake was blown up [or would that mess up the picture?] and that hadith on it? I like the present one too, both would be fine insha'Allah...

sorry i should have quoted the hadith i was reffering to earlier...

Quote:

"Another means of forgiveness and atonement of sins is simply shaking the hands of your brothers and sisters in Islaam. The Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) said :

"There are no two Muslims that meet each other, then they shake hands except that the both of them are forgiven of their sins before they leave each other."

Simple !! Just shake your brother's hand. And hold it and keep holding it so that sins can be removed. And the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) again said :

"Truly the believer when he meets the other believer and then he says, "Assalamu Alaikum" and then he takes his hand and shakes his hand, both of their sins fall off like leaves fall from trees." "

[/quote]

I cant seem to find the Isnaad or if its Sahih, Hasan or Da'if...does anyone know?

However, i did find:

[quote]

"Verily, when a Muslim performs Wudhu properly, and observes salat five times a day his sins fall off, just as leaves fall off a tree."- Ahmad

an idea.. half of the page: a picture of ripples/water droplets, the other half: a figure in ruku or sujood? [not real pictures though, might be harder to get..besides might be safer..] and then that hadith pretty much placed like the rest of the wallpapers..

The frustration one is masha'Allah real good.

Also, what program(s) is/are being used to make the wallpapers?

Masha'Allah regardless.

duas.
