is there a hadith along the lines that the khilaafah will only be absent for 100 years? so if it ended in 1924 it will be restored by 2024 ( and now isis dont count) i mean proper khilafah.
also will khilafah exist prior to mahdi returning or will he be the one to restore it?
finally in terms of faraaid where does restoring khilaafah stand. i always considered it to be amongst our first most duty to try restore but latly iv heard from even some scholars ( i wont name who) saying its not that important and one said even during the ottomans rule schoalars debated if we even needed it. another scholar said islam is fine in secular system we dont need khilaafah. is this acceptable?
