As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh
Many parts of Britain have been devastated by flooding this year. Wifaqul Ulama would like to highlight the fantastic relief effort conducted by British Muslims across the land. MashaAllah, there have been many stories of Muslims rolling up their sleeves and getting involved with the cleanup efforts. We urge all British Muslims to get involved in these charity organizations and volunteer their time.
This is a unique opportunity to give Dawah, positively impact the British society and soften their hearts towards Islam.
We should raise our hands in supplications (Dua) first and foremost and then help with our time and money to ease the difficulties of our fellow citizens.
Britain is our country and to look after our neighbors is our Islamic responsibility.
Wifaqul Ulama recommends working with Al-Khair Foundation and Al-Imdaad Foundation (UK) although there are many other organizations involved in these efforts. Our brief message is to:
- Make Dua
- Contribute Financially
- Volunteer
We would like to now highlight some of the work of these organizations picked up by the local Media.
