I think that some people have really vivid imaginations!

Nobody has apologized for Islam.
Nobody has tried to preempt blame on behalf of Islam and Muslims.
Nobody has exclusively issued a statement on Paris Attacks while leaving aside atrocities where Muslims are tragetted.

Maulana Yasin and Mods are requested to separate the discussion and only keep what is relevant to the statement in this thread.

As far as conspiracies are concerned, those who wish to proceed with Theory A or Theory B can proceed and build whichever elaborate web they wish to (in their minds). The hard reality is the event to which the Ulama have responded to in a fairly even handed manner, you all have the right to an opinion just keep it within the context of what is being said.

Discussing the muslim response in general, to these type of events is perfectly within context....The reaction of the Media towards Muslims following these type of events is also perfectly within context.

As for the Statement you wrote on behalf of Wifaq ul Ulama its fine, but no need to get overly defensive about it...Then the question would also be is how many, of the main stream media, actually quoted the response of Wifaq Ul Ulamah to these events?

No need to get overly aggressive about it either and bring in issues related to ISS and "theories" which may or may not be true to muddle the waters.

The statement which I "reproduced" on behalf of Wifaqul Ulama on this forum would be the correct statement.

No waters being muddled here...Fact media and individuals prominent in the media such as the so-called Historian Tom Holland claim ISIS is a reflection of true Islamic teachings and that whatever they are doing is based upon Islamic texts.

So in that case as muslims we are legitimately within our bounds to challenge this notion, and also look at the origins of this ISIS group and how it emerged from no where. Who created it, Who armed it, who funded it, who trained it etc.

Not in this thread buddy!

The discussion has nothing to do with what this thread is about and the context.

The message and what is factually being produced has nothing to do with Media Strategy, origins of IS and the Interviews of anyone at all.

So far just about every response in this thread is not related.

Perhaps there should be a discussion about Media Strategy and what is the best way to respond (if needed), how should that response be formulated (if needed) etc.

Another discussion on ISIS, TTP and then bring your theories into it etc.

This is the point.

Tired and fed up with the Islamaphobic media, constantly asking muslims to apologise for attrocities they had nothing to do with. Watch the following hilarious video on this.

Please note, we do not endorse this persons methods or views - Much of it is unIslamic - Just the video was linked to this topic.

Some tips in dealing with the Media.

"The spotlight is not for everybody.....The ones who are gonna go on National Television and apologise every time something happens
stay home we dont need you on National Television, so those the Apologists stay home. The other ones are the whole other extreme,
I am not gonna mention any names there is only like two of those, dont go on national television either.

.....One thing I like to tell people is that when your on National Television I dont care how hard you try not to represent every muslim, you represent every muslim in this world thats just how it is. So we need the right people up there and those Uncles with a heavy (foreign) accent should not be on National television either, There are some with beautiful accents who can speak English beautifully and eloquently I am not talking about them..I am talking about those who are unable to express themselves the same they would be able to in Arabic or Urdu or any other language, for those folks National Television is not for you unless it is an Arabic, Urdu, or Bengali (T.V. channel) or in any other language.

Another thing I want to say National Television is not for everybody...(If your going National Television) dont be afraid to challenge the Media, if the Media are talking about ISIS I am gonna be like lets talk about how ISIS got there.

Last thing I will say about who should be in the National Media when it comes to debating Islamaphobes their has to be a couple of us who can do it, because some of us put us to shame on National Television when they are up against the Islamaphobes, Some people say that we should not debate with the Islamaphobes because we are giving them a platform...Well the media is giving them a platform whether you like it or not, So I say if their getting a platform then we are gonna take that platform too. But again its not for everybody Brothers and Sisters, if Sean Hannity (Fox news presenter and Islamaphobe) is calling you telling you that we need you to debate, Robert Spencer, Pamela Geller or Horowitz, and you know you gonna get tore up, do not go on Sean Hannitys programme and get tore up on behalf of our whole community."

I had to learn that through experience...Years ago I used to be a serial letter writer, to the media,...I got over confident and one day decided to join the phone in on National Radio, I put in a terrible performance. So I realised that one should know their limitations, from that point forward I decided to stick to writing letters and e-mails and to let the Brothers who have the skill and talent in live debates on radio and television do their job.

The Following is my Response to a Zionist in the Media on Inayat Bunglawalas Blog.

Brendan says:

I found this quite a depressing episode of the Moral Maze. In my view nursing the victim cum grievance narrative is much more of a threat to the UK than Islamic State’s current military capability. I find it bewildering when some Muslim speakers (for e.g. Mohammad Amin, Taj Hargey, Usama Hasan et el), dare go ‘off message’ they are met with such opprobrium by many of their co-religionists.

My Response...!

I fully agree Brendan My Old Chap, the narrative of the Zionists, and Government funded muppets like Taj Hargey, Mohammed Amin, and Usamah Hassan, is the only one that you should be given Sustenance and Succour.

(1) We must condemn ISIS … But we must not allow into the discourse the fact that CIA and other western intelligence agenices were responsible for the creation of ISIS. As confirmed by General Wesley Clark in the following Video.. youtu.be/ojcoKnTGf4s

No instead we should hold ordinary law abiding Muslims who have nothing to do with this organisation or its creation as responsible and villify them demonise them dehumanise them in the media on a daily basis.

(2) We must condemn Saddam Hussain and other Tyranical regimes in the Muslim world…But we must not allow into the discourse the fact that the America and its allies are the ones who put Saddam and other Tyrannical regimes into Power.

No instead we should hold ordinary law abiding Muslims who have nothing to do with Saddam or his fellow tyrants as responsible for his crimes and villify them demonise them dehumanise them in the media on a daily basis.

(3) We Must condemn Al Qaeda but we must not allow the fact that CIA created Al Qaeda in the first place to Fight the War against the Soviet Union in Afghanistan.

No instead we should hold ordinary law abiding Muslims who have nothing to do with this organisation or its creation as responsible and villify them demonise them dehumanise them in the media on a daily basis.

(4) We Must condemn Omar Bakri Muhammad and Abu Hamza Al Misary and other British extremists but we must not allow into the discourse, the fact both worked for British intelligence.

No instead we should hold ordinary law abiding Muslims who have nothing to do with these individuals or there creation as responsible and villify them demonise them dehumanise them in the media on a daily basis.

(5) We Must Refuse to publish or report the hundreds of condemnations by Muslim leaders of Terrorism…. Then Lie to the British Public that Muslims are not doing enough to condemn Terrorism.

No instead we should hold ordinary law abiding Muslims who have nothing to do with this and villify them demonise them dehumanise them in the media on a daily basis.

(6) We Must Condemn Radicalisation….But ignore the fact that the biggest cause of radicalisation is the rabid like daily villification, demonisation and dehumanisation that takes place in the fanatical Zionist controlled media…!

No instead we should hold ordinary law abiding Muslims who have nothing to do with this as responsible and villify them demonise them dehumanise them in the media on a daily basis.

(7) When the Muslims speak out against the injustice and hypocrisy and double standards…We should respond with…. “In my view nursing the victim cum grievance narrative is much more of a threat to the UK than Islamic State’s current military capability” ....Unbelievable!

I have not even got to the 10,000 Massacred in Fallujah…, or British, French, Italian Colonisation of the Middle East. The 1.6 million Algerians alone that were slaughtered in their war of independence. The Theft of the Land of Palestine by… Fanatical European Zionist Refugees…Same Zionists who control the media in the West and cry and villify the refugees coming into Europe. Well Brendan old Chap we can discuss these issues next time. If your game.
Yes My Dear Old Fellow we are in the Internet age, and voiceless have a voice and the Zionist media cannot suppress it, I am sure it must be depressing and bewildering for you…Thats what we call Detroit Freestyle academics,

The Following is Inayat Bunglawalas response to the Zionist.

I always find it rather interesting that when Muslims condemn ISIS they are lauded as brave, but if they also criticise Western warmongering in the region and Israel’s apartheid treatment of the Palestinians they are accused of holding a ‘victim mentality’. Far better to speak the truth to power than bow before the powerful.

Brother Mashallah keep up the good work. I was speaking to a scholar about the Paris attacks and hypocrisy. He mentioned some points and I think it made sense;

1. We should condemn such attacks without mentioning western hypocrisy due to the climate we live in at that particular moment. These are times of high emotions and brains are not working. So let us say May ALLAH give my parents a long life but my parents pass away. Now if someone says I'm sad that your parents have passed away but no big deal millions of parents pass away elsewhere it is insensitive.
2. We should read the political climate and when thinks are much cooler we can make such statements i.e. of western hypocrisy.
3. Muslims living as minorities is a relatively new phenomenen and we need to realise this.
4. We should jump on the bandwagon when things are in our favour and at that time make alliances with like minded people. e.g. When the young child's picture was broadcast and there was sympathy for refugees we should throw full force behind such moments.
5. We realistically will not be able to change Western policies or policies living as minorities. We could learn survival from Jews and learn some of their tactics. However so-called western tolerance even in it's outward shape is only around 30 years old.
6. Make plans for hijrah. Develop some connection with countries of origin which many of us have lost. Get hold of dual nationalities, id cards etc.
7. Turn to ALLAH, repent, increase zikr, dawah and all actions that please ALLAH. This should be number 1 not last

Sure we need to have is a different horses for different courses approach. If a Muslim appears in the Media,
after an atrocity and says Islam is a religion of peace, the reaction you get from the non-muslim audience is "what the hell is he talking about", and when individuals like David Cameron, and Barack Obama appear on T.V. and say; "Islam has nothing to do with Terrorism, these Terrorists have hijacked the religion of Islam",

You usually get a very angry response from the general audience. "Why are they defending this evil religion."

What the Media has done is create an erroneous image that somehow all muslims support Terrorist attrocities committed against the west, so if a muslim leader appears in the media to condemn an act, after one of these attrocities takes place the general non-muslim audience do not believe it, they have subconciously been conditioned to believe that these Muslim leaders are merely paying lip service but they secretly actually support these Terrorist acts.

How ever if an individual like a Maajid Nawaaz appears, in the media and says "It is time for the Muslim community to speak out against the Cancer of Terrorism in their own community, the muslims need to accept complete responsibility.."

That resonates with the non-muslim audience, they see him as someone who is a genuine well wisher of the west, who is willing to tackle the issue head on and address the fact that all muslims are responsible for Terrorism.

There is an entire Science and psychology when dealing with the media, the questions that are asked aree designed to create or reinforce a certain image.

For example the media has created an image, that Islam is a religion that oppresses women, so invariably a radio, or TV presenter will throw a question about womens rights in Islam when faced with a muslim guest even though the topic has nothing to do with women or the rights of women. He does not care what answer or response you give, he knows that sub-conciously this stereotype is so deeply embedded amongst the non-muslim masses ,the mere fact that he asked the question will subconciously
re-inforce the stereotype that Islam oppresses women. The answer of the guest is irrelevant.
