Tasawwuf is not the name of some 'mystic' phenomena. It is an effort to attain taqwa and cleans the nafs of bad attributes. The most important thing,therefore, is to have company of someone who knows Quran and Sunna and can train you accordingly. Such a person is called Shaikh,murshid or Pir.
It automatically goes with the above, that :
• The Shaikh should be 'physically' available
• That he should have sufficient knowledge of Quran and Sunna ( for if he himself does not know it,how can he teach us ?)
• He should himself be Muttaqi and the scholars of his time should be generally testifying to his taqwa ( for if he himself is not Muttaqi,how can you or me learn taqwa from him ?)
• The Shaikh himself must have got training from a recognised Shaikh whose chain of transmission is continuous up to the prophet pbuh. The traditions of din run from generation to generation in continuity.
Owaisi nisbst is indeed recognised but extremely rare and limited to the person who attains it. It is not necessary that the mureed of an Owaisi is also Owaisi, therefore Owaisi is NOT a silsila...it is strictly an individualised phenomena unique to the Owaisi only.
Dreams are not 'Hujjat' in din and no decision of importance can be based on dreams 'alone'. Similarly kashaf have no decisive role in din and is acceptable only if not contradictory to sharia and 'Saheb e kashaf' have good character and his kashaf is accepted by the Uluma of his time.
Darveshi is not a 'secret'...it is moulding one,s Akhlaq and Aqaed according to sharia.. The rest is 'mysticism' which is not our topic of discussion !
