As-Salāmu ʿAlaykum wa Raḥmatullāhi wa Barakātuh,

For reasons similar to what Brother Jinn has mentioned in his thread, I would like to begin importing another thread initiated by Ḥāfiẓ Sulaiman84 on sunniforum (original thread) to this forum إن شاء الله and I ask Allāh's assistance and acceptance in doing so. After the thread is finished being imported, we may also continue the work, إن شاء الله. So, let's begin.

This translation is in response to the request of bro Maripat Jazahumullahu khairan. Plus I've been meaning to try to translate this book ever since I read some of it. I would definitely appreciate if brother/sisters who are familiar with translating to assist me because I am rusty and do need help. Good translations make a world of difference in understanding.

This is what I translated from the beginning so far and is open for corrections...

Comprehensive Principles for Reviving the Effort of the Rasool Sallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam in Da’wah and Tabligh

Allah is sufficient for me, I put my trust in Him and He is the Rabb of the great throne

I start with the name of Allah, as one who asks for help

Pleased with Him as a Disposer of affairs, a Helper

All praise is for Allah as He guided us

To the path of Truth and He selected us

I praise Him, He is free from all faults and thank Him

And for my evil deeds I seek His forgiveness.

I seek His Help in attainment of His Pleasure

And I derive from His kindness whatever is decreed

And after that, I certainly bear witness

The testimony of sincerity that none has the right to be worshiped except The Most Merciful

The One who is exalted from every blemish and deficiency

And certainly the best of His creation is Muhammad (Sallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam)

Who came to us with clear proofs and guidance

His messenger to all of the creation

With Nur and guidance and the true Deen

Salutations on him from our Rabb and glory

And on his family and companions in unending continuation

A Loving gift for the Strangers

“Glad tiding for the strangers

They asked: Who are they O Rasulullah?

He Sallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam said: Those who revive my Sunnah which had been corrupted by the people after me.”

To the migrating strangers for (spreading the) belief throughout the world east and west.

To those out in the Path of Allah Ta’aala for reviving the effort of Nabi Sallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam. Glad tidings for them…

Those who correct when the people corrupt.

To every one who carries the importance of Da’wah to Allah Ta’aala.

To those who are convinced that the temporary and everlasting success of this ummah in this life and the Hereafter, lies only in obedience to the order of Allah Ta’aala, in the way shown by Nabi Sallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam…

سيروا على نهج الرسول وصحبه

Move out on the pattern of the Rasool (Sallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam) and his Companions (Radhiyallahu ‘anhum)

لا تعبؤا بالآثم المتمرد

Do not be unconcerned with the rebellious sinner.

ولتعلونها للبرية كلها

And definitely make it (this effort of Rasulullah Sallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam) rise amongst all creation.

أننا بغير محمد لا نقتدي

That certainly, we do not take an example besides Rasulullah (Sallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam).

لا نطلب الدنيا ولا نسعى لها

We do not desire worldly things nor do we aim for it.

اللّه مقصدنا ونعم المقصد

Our intention is for Allah and how wonderful an intention it is!

ليس المناصب همنا ومرادنا

Status is not important nor is it wanted from us.

كلا ولا ثوب الخديعة نرتدي

No! With no cover of deception do we wear.

بعلاج أنفسنا المريضة نبتدي

We start with treatment of our own sick selves.

نحب أن نهدي البرية كلها

We love to (make the effort to) guide all of creation.

ندعو القريب قبيل نصح الأبعد

We give da’wah to those who are close before advising those who are furthest away.

وبواجب المعروف نأمر قومنا

And as a duty we command our people with good.

ونقوم صفا في طريق المفسد

And we stand in rows in the way of corruption.

لو تبصروا الأحباب في حلقاتنا

If you see the beloved brothers in our gatherings.

من عالم أو طالب مسترشد

From a scholar or student who are seeking guidance.

لرأيت علما و إتباعا صادقا

You will see true knowledge and emulation.

للسنة الغراء دون تردد

Of the shining Sunnah without hesitation.

هم زينة الدنيا مصابيح الهدى

They are the adornment of the world, illuminations of guidance.

طلعوا على الدنيا طلوع الفرقد

They came up in the world like the rising of stars.

ورثوا النبي أحسنوا قي إرثه

They inherited from the Prophet.They excelled in his inheritance.

وحموه من كيد الخبيث المعتدي

And they protected it (the Prophet’s inheritance) from the plots of the wicked aggressor.

فاصبر أخي و كن بربك واثقا

So be patient my brother and be, by your Rabb confident.

هذا الطريق الهدى والسؤدد

This is the way to guidance and preeminence.

أحمده حمدا يتقرب به المؤمنون الموحدون

و أشهد ألا إله إلا الله وحده لا شريك له
شهادة ثنفع قائلها يوم لا ينفع مال ولا بنون
و أشهد أن نبينا محمد عبد الله و رسوله, أرسله هاديا ومبشرا و نذيرا و داعيا إلى الله بإذنه وسراجا منيرا

فبلغ الرسالة, و أدى اللأمانة, ونصح الأمة وجاهد قي الله حق جهاده

و التابعين ومن تبعهم بإحسان إلى الدين

أحبتي في الله,

كلما كبرت الدعوة...وكلما انتشر الصلاح

ذكرنا محمد صلى الله عليه و سلم

وكلما رفعت السبابة تقول, لا أله ألا الله ذكرنا محمد صلى الله عليه و سلم
وكلما استغفر المستغفرون وكلما عاد المنيبون إلى الله ذكرنا محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم

احبتي في الله

تمسكوا بهديه وعضوا على سنته با لنواجذ
و طبقوا وصاياه...ذلكم وصاكم به لعاكم تتقون

In the name of Allah, The Most Compassionate, The Most Merciful.

All praise is for Allah who sent His messenger with guidance and the true Deen to make it dominant over all other religions, even though the mushrikun may hate it…

I praise Him with a praise through which the believing monotheists draw closer (together).

And I testify that there is none worthy of worship but Allah, The One who does have any partner. A testimony that benefits the one who says (and believes in) it on the day when neither wealth nor sons will be of any benefit.

And I testify that certainly our prophet is Muhammad, the slave of Allah and His messenger. He sent him as a guide and a giver of glad tidings and as a warner and as a Da’i to Allah by His command and an illuminating lantern.

So he conveyed the message, and fulfilled the trust, and sincerely advised the ummah, and he struggled for the cause of Allah as one ought to struggle. May the Blessings of Allah and His Peace be upon him and his family and his companions, and whoever holds fast to his sunnah and is content with his way, and from the followers and those who follow them with excellence until the last day.

O Lovers of Allah,

Whenever the da’wah becomes greater…and whenever reformation spreads
And whenever the mu’adhdhin calls the aadhaan…
And whenever those who fast make iftar…
And whenever the hujjaaj and mu’tamirun dawn the ihram

We remembered Muhammad Sallallahu ‘alahi wa sallam.

And whenever the forefinger is raised, you say: Laa ilaaha illallah, we remembered Muhammad Sallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam.

And whenever those who seek forgiveness make istighfaar
And whenever those who repent make taubah
And whenever those who turn to Allah return back to Him, we remembered Muhammad Sallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam.

O Lovers of Allah,

Hold fast to his guidance and clench onto his sunnah with your molar teeth! And carry out Allah’s commandments…These are the things which Allah has commanded you so that you may adopt Taqwa. An’am:153

إن سعادتنا مرهونا باتباعه صلى الله عليه و سلم, إن أبواب الجنة بعد مبعثه أوصدت فلا تفتح إلا لأتباعه على دينه الحديث القدسي (ففي الأثر الإلهي , لو جاءوني من كل طريق واستفتحوا علي من كل باب, ما فتحت لهم حتى يأتوا من خلفك يا محمد)

يا قوم إن محمد صلى الله عليه و سلم سيعيش معكم بسنته إذا أردتم أن يعيش معكم, سوف تجدونه يتحدث إليكم في مجالسكم متى أردتم أن يتحدث معكم
فا لدعوة ألى الله...من أجل الوظائف... ولأعمال وأرفعها
فأجرها عظيم و درجتا رفيعة...فهي وظيفة الرسل

الأمر بالمعروف و النهي عن المنكر فرضة

و إن هذه الأمة فضلث على العالمين

لأنها تأمر با لمعروف و تنهي عن المنكر و تدعوا إلى الخير
إن مما خص الله به نبي هذه الأمة محمدا صلى الله عليه و سلم وخص به رسالته والنور الذي جاء به
أنها رسالة و دعوة عامة للثقلين الجن و الإنس

كما قال جل و علا (أيها الناس إني رسول الله إليكم جميعا)
وقال سبحانه (وما أرسلناك إلا كافة للناس بشيرا و نذيرا)
(و ما أرسلناك إلا رحمة للعالمين)

فهذه الأمة مأمورة بما أمر بها نبيها فهي مأمورة بتبليغ الدين للناس كافة

و قال سبحانه (ولتكن منكم أمة يدعون إلى الخير و يأمرون بالمعروف وينهون عن المنكر و أولئك هم المفلحون)
هي المكلفة بنشر هذا الدين الذي فيه سعادة البشرية
فمقام الدعوة...من أشرف المقامات
فيا خسارة من قامت حياته...وذهبت أيامه

O lovers of Allah:

Certainly our happiness is dependent on emulating him (Rasulullah) Sallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam. Certainly the doors of Jannah after his commencement (of prophet-hood) are closed and they will not open (for anyone) except for those who emulate him and his Deen.

Hadith Qudsi: ((In effect of the Divine: If they came to me from every way and tried to open every door to reach Me, It will not open for them until they come from behind you, O Muhammad (Sallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam)).

O my people! Muhammad Sallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam will live with you through (emulating) his Sunnah. If you want him (his Sunnah) to be in your life, you will find his Sunnah speaking to you all in your gatherings, whenever you want his Sunnah to speak with you.

So the Da’wah to Allah…is from among the most dignified works and actions and it is highest.

Its reward is tremendous and its position is high…it is the work of the messengers.

Commanding the right and forbidding the evil is obligatory.

And certainly this Ummah is preferred over the entire world.

Because it (this Ummah) commands what is right and forbids from evil and they call towards the good.

Certainly, when Allah distinguished the Prophet of this Ummah, Muhammad Sallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam and distinguished his message and the light he came with, that certainly it is a message and Da’wah which is for the masses of the two burdensome classes; the Jinn and mankind.

As (Allah) The Exalted and High said:

O people! Indeed to all of you I am a Rasul…(Al-A’raaf: 158)

And (Allah who is) free from all faults and blemishes said:

We have sent you to the whole of mankind only as a carrier of good news and a warner...(Saba’: 28)

We have sent you as a mercy to the universe. (Anbiyaa: 107)

So this Ummah is commanded with what its prophet was commanded with, and that commandment is conveying the Deen to all the people.

And (Allah who is) free from all faults and defects said:

There should be a group from you who invite towards good, command what is right and forbid evil.These are indeed the successful ones.
(Aali Imran: 104)

The Ummah is responsible with spreading this Deen, which has the happiness for all humanity.

So the status of Da’wah…is from the noblest statuses.

O one at loss who’s life departs! …And his days pass.

يقول رب جلّ و علا ((و من أحسن قولا ممن دعا إلى الله و عمل صالحا وقال إنني من المسلمين
و صح في الحديث عن معاوية قال سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول ((لا تزال طا ئفة من أمثي قائمة بأمر الله, لا يضرهم من خذلهم ولا من خالفهم حتى يأثي أمر الله و هم ظاهرين على الناس)) إنهم الدعاة الصادقون الذين يتحركون بدعوتهم خالصة إلى الله حالهم
((قل هذه سبيلي أدعو إلى الله على بصيرة أناو من اتبعني و سبحانالله وما أنا من المشركين))

فهم لا يدعون إلى قومية أو عصبية
ولا يدعون إلى دنيا أو جاه
ولا دعون لكرسي زائل أو منصب فان...ولا يدعون لجماعة
بل جماعتهم هي جملعة المسلمين...و منهجهم القران و السنة
و إمامهم هو إمام الهدى...
و مصابيح الدجى محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم...
و طريقهم هو طريق السلف رضي الله عنهم

إنهم الناصحون المصلحون
إنهم الداعون إلى تحرير البشر من عبادة العباد إلى عبادة رب العباد
و من جور الاديان إلى عدل الاسلام...و من ضيق ادنيا إلى سعة الدنيا و اللأخرة
شعاهم ان نجاحنا و فلاحنا في الدنيا والأخرة فقط بإمتثال أوامر الله تعالى و على طريق نبينا محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم
إنهم قادة سفينة الانقذ...إنهم شموع التى تحترق لتضيء للناس
طريق الهدى والحق والنور...إنهم وعي الامة المستنير

And he will not have a share of this great ibadah. Allah the Exalted and High says ((Whose speech can be better than the one who calls towards Allah, who performs righteous deeds and says, "I am from the Muslims)) Fussilat:33 And true is the Hadith from Mu'awiyah (Radhiyallahu 'anhu) who said he heard Rasulullah Sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam saying, "There will always remain a group from my Ummah who will establish the orders of Allah. Those who avoid and oppose them will not be able to harm them until the order of Allah comes while they are dominant over the people." (Muslim)

Certainly they are the truthful ones who move with their Da'wah in a manner sincerely for Allah. ((Say, "This is my way: I call towards Allah with insight, as well as those who follow me. Allah is Pure, and I am not from the Mushrikin.")) Yusuf:108

So they do not call towards nationalism or 'Asabiyyah.* And they do not call towards towards the world or its fame. And they do not call towards a transitory seat or a temporary position. They do not call towards groups, but their group is the group of the Muslims. Their methodology is the Qur'an and Sunnah and in front of them is the leader of guidance and illuminating lamp, Muhammad Sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam. Their path is the path of the Salaf Radhiyallahu 'anhum. Certainly they are well wishers and reformers (of themselves and others). Certainly they are calling towards the liberation of mankind from the worship of creation to the worship of the Rabb of creation. And from the oppression of other ways of life to the justice of Islam. From the narrowness of (just) the world to the spaciousness of the world and the Akhirah. Their slogan is: Certainly, our temporary and everlasting success is only in following the commands of Allah, in the way of our Nabi Muhammad Sallahu 'alaihi wa sallam. Certainly they are steering the boat of salvation ...Certainly they the are candles that burn to illuminate for people. A way of guidance, truth and divine light...They are the enlightened consciousness of the Ummah.

* 'Asabiyyah means fanatical association on the basis of language, tribe, race or nation.
