Asslamo Allaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Baraktuh,

Last night a very good friend of mine took me to a Hakeem. I don’t really have much interaction with them.

This guy took my pulse and then went on about my life history and then said that my problem is lack of water and I need to drink 3 litres a day! He also gave me some (Homeopathic) medication. Nice guy and he explained a lot (which I didn’t pay attention to) so he said, “Talk is cheap! Why don’t you come back in 4 weeks and tell me how you feel”.

The standard charge for disgnosis is £10 and all medicine are free and they consult for 4 weeks and then you go back again. For Ulama and Huffadh its all free; he must have asked me 3 times if I am a Hafidh.

Treatment is based on eating right etc.

I am not really sick (few niggles that’s about it).

My question is HOW IN THE WORLD can you construct someone’s whole medical history from taking wrist pulse? I have read about this millions of times but this is the first experience.

I didn’t tell him anything.

Any explanations?

Not difficult, some people have a gift from Allah, but most use help of jins and sorcery. Recently I learnt that an Asian herbalist/homeopathy was using sihr in his medication, first it gives illusion of it working but thereafter the symptoms would increase and in requirement of more treatment.

Yes ulema would be free because your destroying them at no extra cost.

I'm not saying this person is not genuine, but do not be deluded similar to aamils 99% of them are frauds. Allah knows best.

You should've asked him how much water he thinks you normally drink? If he said 1.5 Litres and he was right...He's using a jinn :)

I took my grandfather once to a "hakeem" who wasn't Muslim. He was Hindu. (in Derby, UK)

We went because he was an expert in massage and my grandfather had issues in his knees. Nothing spiritual stuff at all.

He basically got some oil and rubbed it on his knees for about 20 minutes and said that we needed to keep his knee wrapped up in a hot water bottle for the rest of the day and return the next day.

Did my dad wrap his dad's knees in a hot water bottle? No.

So the next day, we heated his knee up next to an electric heater and kept it covered during the entire journey to the Hakeem (1.5hrs)

When we got there, the hakeem placed his thumb on the knee for a split second and said, "You didn't do as I told you" and we were speechless. His knee was warm but the hakeem knew we didn't do as he said.

He also didn't take any money, but his assistant said, "Hakeem saab doesn't take any money, but if you want to gift him something, you can" So my dad pulled out £10 and gave it to the hakeem. The hakeem didn't take the money, instead, he said to put it on the side, to show that it was against his principles to take money. Yeh right!

My dad and granddad both wondered why he didnt touch the money, so I said it was because his hands were covered in Oil :)

i agree with the water. but you should gradually increase your water intake if your body is not used to it.

So if you know it, he knows it too because he never leaves you. So how can it be possible that he wouldn't know?

Similar thing with the Hindus who believe in reincarnation. When they see a little child who is the reincarnation of Dr Patel, this is only possible by jinn possession and the knowledge the jinn acquired from the real doctor. There is no such thing as reincarnation so there is no other valid explanation.
