Even I m facing same problem with a message "website page not found" rather than both of us does anyone facing same problem, its not Internet problem cause I am able to browse other sites.

I had an issue a few minutes ago too. Maybe server issues, but seems to be working fine for now inshaAllah.

I cant comment on the status of the internet in Pakistan.

wanted to suggest removal of the 'like' etc buttons. maybe just keep 'ameen' . feel the agree, disagree, like, dislike, winner, buttons probs do more harm then good (desires/pride wise, escalates debates into personal issues etc)

That goes for almost everything including replies. A positive reply can cause the same issue so we can't remove the feature to reply for this reason right? It will make no difference because what a person feels can be sparked from anything and the individual needs to work on that and not have the world change for him.

This will again happen with or without the ratings.

While you are looking at the individual harms, I have to consider the harms to the site and all this was added with only positives in mind. Because the individual is one whereas the site is "everyone"

Ratings = saves from one word posts. Since adding "like" - there hasn't been a single "lol" post < that's a win right there
Since adding "disagree" - post replies to disagree has decreased resulting in less bickering
etc.

If people write in Urdu or posts which are incorrectly formatted or badly written they should be hidden from view until the poster is FORCED to fix their error. We have people who can write Latin but refuse to fix their English so no excuse for language and if someone has a language issue that's understandable.

We need to worry because it is against Sunnah to inconvenience others so all these Latin speaking Sufees can go and speak to Latin to their Shaykh and amongst their (he and she) Mureeds. This is an English forum and if someone has problems its understandable because a person may be fluent in one language but not the other but if some people just enjoy being difficult that should be addressed.
