what i mean is like when i want to post media like in the lectures category,

There are two ways to post media:
1) To provide a link to the audio file
2) To embed the audio within your post, thus allowing the user to listen to it without navigating away from MS or opening a new window.
1) To link an audio file, find the url of the file e.g. downloads2.nadeemdownloads.com/ISLAMIC%20SERVER%2008/Misc... and paste it into your post.
To make it look neater, type the title of the lecture (e.g. Dawah Technique Course Pt.1), select it, and then click on the 'Insert link' icon from the toolbar in the editor. Paste the full URL in the pop-up box which comes up, and you'll get:
2) To embed audio within your post,
Copy and paste this code into the Quick Reply box, and paste the URL into the speech marks after SRC=

Also, when you edit posts, the player will come up as a box. Double click it to view it. You can resize from there too.

firstly i have a blog and i have been given a code i cant find the code and i dont know where abouts on the side bar should i place it (UMME YASSIR?????? i think it was the kind sister who told me) and also when you say url what is that exactly is it the actual web page where the audio is on or is it when you right click and it says copy link location????
I look forward to anyones help sorry to bother everyone (you would think i would kow by now how to do it

I'm not sure what you mean about the blog, maybe someone else will be able to help.
The URL you need to post is the link to the actual media (by Right Clicking the audio). And it has to be a media file: mp3, wma, rm, ram, m3u etc.
I think the files you used to post the quran recitations are ZIP files which have to be downloaded so will not work in the media field / as an embedded audio (i think).
