Draft Saving Added

Assalamu Alaykum,

Members can now save drafts of posts before anything goes online. The post that they save will only be accessible by them from the user toolbox.

Even if the saved draft was a question, you will be able to access it and edit it and either resave, or submit.

Please note, once submitted, it will be removed from toolbox drafts and enabled online.

I would like to mention that once you are ready to post your article using this draft feature,

it gets posted the DATE you saved it !!

Was it sorted? I tried it today, (the 'Mishary Al Efasy' topic led me to coz it came into existence today although the date's 2 days back) and it still happens like that.

Also, not sure if it's supposed to, but when a draft is saved, it comes up in the members profile aswell as in the Index page in the 'last post' area.

Also, the 'total posts' of mine became 1 extra, after saving a draft (& is the same after removing it.)

It was 'kind of' sorted. As all other things were kept the same, all the save as draft does is that it hides it from the site from being accessed. Otherwise all other things remain the same. There are just too many files to edit to sort this problem. InshaAllah sometime when I have good amount of time.

It's ok Admin, as the site is Alhumdolillah growing and then to make editing changes everywhere is quite a hassle aswell as time consuming!

I suggest the solution to this if you want your post to come up on the day of posting instead of day of saving then all you have to do is "cut and paste" your post on as a new topic rather then go through your toolbox.

So the point of putting it in toolbox would be just as a reminder!

[In case your wondering why I didn't do that......

well there isn't a delete option( like there is everywhere else when you post) in the Quran Recitation new post part.

And also, I don't mind if it doesn't show up on homepage.]
