A few years back I opened a thread to discuss something with the other authorizers and admins as it was something new to me and I'm sure new to you too.
This forum is not the same as others, i.e. Maulana Yasin has designed it to suit our needs and to keep everything Halal as far as he could. Therefore, I am quoting the actual posts from 2011 so you become familiar with how the PM's work.
Please don't get put off by this, I just wanted to alert you of how the system works inshaAllah.

I personaly use my Qunya (Father of Mohammed) as I use my blog posts and forum posts to pass onto other family members and friends who I would find difficult having a conversation on Islam with. I hope that makes sense.
Shaitan works in many ways and he runs in our blood. He could easily get our minds thinking all sorts of things. I'm sure you have seen the Satanic Whispers thread and blog post.

Excellent point, I feel relaxed, I dont have to go into the PM to read it. The Subject details also help. Not to worry for those who have shared info so far, as I have a terrible memory and didnt go through the messages to authorize it. I'm sure you can relax, from my part any way. InshaAllah.

However, some members are asking topic related questions in private, please report it and send them a PM saying that it should be asked in the main forum/blog etc for everyone's benefit.
PM's between same genders if they have enough posts go through straight away as there's no need to authorise those.
This way, the system is not too strict, not too much work, in between and probably the most safest so members feel safe from Fitnah.[/quote]

Please note, PM's will go through without authorizing once you have made enough posts between the same genders. Opposite genders will always remain on hold until authorized.
Certain members had come (a few years ago), opened an account, never posted anything and just used it for PM's, increasing our work and delaying their messages in the first place....Come on guys!
