salaam.
I have joined a group on facebook which is abt items for sale. There are many items which are either new or used few times and ppl sell it at very low prices than origional one dont know the reason... There comes branded handbags which are tooo expensive n cost alot but they giveaway in few pounds less than origional prices (which are used once or twice and some are new wid tags on)...... I am wondering if its allowed to buy an item for low price than its origional? or it wud count in some kind of gambling etc? I am really intrested in buying some items over there. kindly if someone may guide me.

Other day an item i was searching for it price but that was in freebies. means tht was free for collection. If i get the handbag or some other item in free that cost nothing and is in new condition. wud it be considered as haram or not? yes another thing i have ask for: if i get tht i hv to wash that handbag even if its new??
i need answer asap. Many thanks.

Nothing wrong in buying a product and then selling it on as far as I know since you are now the owner of it. Just be careful with fakes.

In fact, people go to places like Bicester village, buy original designer handbags for £25, £40, £70 and then sell them for double the price. Eventually making their own bag free. They sell them cheap in the first place because they are samples and would not be found in the mainstream market - its just a way to entice people into buying labels, and it works :(

I know people who have made loads of money like this and are owners of flash labels which ended up being free for them!!! (But obviously, that's not a scholarly opinion, just people I know who have done it in the past)

Thanks brother ur a bit late but still.
if u check online for Chanel and MK handbags they are on £6,000. 3,000. 1,400 range and if u get these for£100 less/more Wouldn't it be free?? If they like new with tags on or been used just twice.
You mean they get sample for these brands?? How come on £75 original??
might u be talking abt other brands. Hows it possible they selling the copies?
But thanks u pointed out i will discuss with family n will find out if they doing such stupid business in real.

Bicester village is a designer label village with top brands at high street prices, of course still expensive though. It is based near Oxford, UK. They are not copies, they are original labels. At times their offers are crazy and at other times it's not worth it at all.

Anyway, there is a handbag thread that was eventually moved to the sisters section, you may continue there. But I must stress, it's very quiet as there aren't that many sisters around.

Personally I think it's a total waste of money.

Assalamualaykum sister, welcome to MS I have added you to the sisters group. It is fairly quiet on there, the main benefit for beneficial threads and input from other members is on main forum.

However do feel free to post on there and introduce yourself.

Hope that helps.
