Would it be possible to have a bit of the text from the forum displayed like the RSS feeds?
When I get notification of a post, I check the RSS feeds first before I log on. That's if I'm outside. If worthwhile, I log on and respond. Assuming that the app doesn't eat the data, this would be more beneficial (to me, at least). Like now, waiting for a train, eating my data.
Future ideas would be able to reply from the app itself. And to be able to submit a question to the ulama via the app too.
1. Having part of the text - Possible (will be added to settings as an option for you to enable or disable)
2. Yes via app is much more data friendly than using browser.
3. Replying to forum threads will be available after reading the forums threads is added. Will require much more work but unfortunately, it could be a while as this app making eats time.
4. Q&A involves too much at the moment so when we restore the free quota Q&A (inshaAllah), we can have this feature via the app
Is it possible to automatically log in from handset when you open the app and automatically log out when closing the app, or does this happen anyway? Only on handset not all devices.
Yes that's already automatic. If you login and close the app without logging out then it logs you in next time you open the forum section. If you log out and then it doesn't remember you and you need to login again when required.
That feeling when you're traveling and going away where you double check everything. Then you leave, you just reach the end of the road and for at least half an hour you feel like you're forgetting something but you just can't figure out what (although it's probably nothing) - We've all been there right?
The same thing is happening on app updates. It's complete but I keep feeling I'm missing something...
Best get someone else to test it. InshaAllah 2.1 should be up within the hour
