I was thinking of doing a second thread for the iphone app. It'll be better to keep the two separate as updates and features will vary

The Y451N is a test account I made years ago. I told developer to post proper test message but he still posted gibberish.

Thats a fair point. In that case you should start the thread ASAP and get the iPhone to send its messages to that thread rather than the android thread.

It does.

Open the App,

Press menu

Select Settings

Select "Notify on forum Updates" untick this box.

 

If this fails, then tick the box, select "Update check time", choose the time and then untick "Notify on forum Updates"

InshaAllah, this will stop the notifications.

Jazakallah. As the categories are created according to contents, it was limited.

The e-books is a list of books in a single forum so categorising would require a large amount of sub-forums making it complicated to submit the book. As it aimed to be an archive of available books online. This can however be improved by adding tags to the post e.g.

Tags: accusations, refutation, ahlus, sunnah, jamaaah

This can enable me to create an effective search feature for the books.


Videos:
Categories can be updated for this section easily. I can re-create the category structure within minutes as the video section is built with category management. This will however mean that all 766 videos (current count) will have to be reassigned their appropriate categories. Can we manage this?

Assalamu Alaykum,

 

Alhamdulillah Version 4 is now available on the play store.

We now have askimam.org in the app and they were kind enough to provide the feeds for the app for the benefit of the users. AskImam has a dedicated screen on the app for their questions.

Notifications have also been removed for non-members as many people couldn't find settings to switch it off.

Most of the screens in the app have had design improvements which I hope will be useful.
