Assalamu Alaykum,

RSS feeds have many uses such as simple import of updates on other web sites as well as quick headline views of updates from a web site on a browser, software or mobile device.

The standard RSS feed for the forum is at www.muftisays.com/forums/rss.php which will only show public topics.

Support has now been added to include private categories using your personal ID in the URL. You can get the link from your "User Control Panel" (in the forum menu on right hand side) www.muftisays.com/forums/ucp.html - Must be logged in

Tried and tested, works brilliant on android. Jazakallah this will save so much time and effort. Any idea how the data use is affected or will it be less than actually logging on all the time.

Yes it will be much less than logging in.

Average feed size: 10kb
Average page size without images: 70kb
Average page size with images: 250kb+

To include the post text in the feed, simply add &full=1 at the end of the feed URL (will slightly slow down the speed of the feed - very slightly)
