Posts with PDF links will have a button appear to load the PDF inline (not yet tested on mobile).

If the viewer doesn't load, the direct link will still be there

No BBcode needed.

file-examples.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/file-sample_...

It will also work for pdf attachments when inserted inline
