This poem written by me (an ex ummah user, now a prisoner) is aimed as an explanation of my unfortunate situation, a message to my oppressors, a prayer, and a call to the Muslim nation. I pray that this poem/letter reaches out to those who still carry a conscience in a society where having a conscience is seen as weak and naïve. A society where selfishness is encouraged and oppression is propagated. Enjoy.

To Whom It May Concern:
The nature of my situation requires much explanation
Incarceration for verbal stimulation against your nation
Your patience and concentration for this articulate creation
Needs to be strong to understand my irritation
And my frustration at the continuation of my incarceration
Propagation of my oppression, to you- no negation
It will continue until death meets me in duration
Contemplation of these words makes you feel a good sensation
Do you feel gratification? It just boots my reputation!
Now I’m the twenty-year old “terrorist” causing verbal devastation.
Now, here is the point of my poetic situation:
Try incarceration for a few spoken words and let me know if it hurts.
My reason for being here is that of not showing fear
At being sentenced four years, just for being weird?
I live my life alone; nobody sees my tears.
I’m a stranger here; my pleas on deaf ears
A sincere young man, lost in his native land
A land that isn’t home, even though it’s his place of birth.
Let THAT tell you what he’s worth
In the eyes of his enemy
Who expresses hate and animosity
A political prisoner in a land supposedly free
Oh, the agony!
The rotten fruit of Democracy
The sour milk of freedom of speech -
And ideology so contradictory!
Oh, my enemy!
Cease your tyranny!
From a voiceless voice of sincerity
Mute in a world hypocrisy
Spoken in a cell of solitary
Oh, the melody!
Of the voice when the oppressed sing
Ignored in a world of lunacy
Laughed at in a world of comedy
Oh, the poetry!
Of a landless king of disparity
Of a lonely king of solitary
Of a sacrificing revolutionary
Oh, oppressive fiends!
My disparity of your humanity!
Oh, you mocking fiends!
You show only enmity
To a unique like me
A Muslim who struggles for prosperity
In this life and then eternity
Oh, you arrogant fiends!
I refuse to show conformity
To your false authority
Sovereignty only belongs to He (God)
Ya umme intee janati (oh mother, you are my garden/paradise)
Allah yirda’alaykee (may God be satisfied with you)
Samheenee bil dounya wal akhirati (forgive me this world and the next (for when God questions me of my disobedience).
Wa yufrijik ya habibit albee (and may you be uplifted, the love of my heart).
Ya ummee intee ruhee, wa aynenik al qamari (oh mother, you are my soul and your eyes are the moonlight)
Wa Allah ya’layn al munafiqeen (and God cure the hypocrites)
Oh, you hateful fiends!
Know that revenge will come
You’re standing in front of the One (God)
A punishment in a fiery sea
Of carnage and blazing agony
A fate you deserve to see
for your spiteful brutality
not only against me, but against the nation of purity (the Muslim nation as a whole)
Oh, Allah avenge me!
Captivity in the hands of your enemy
The crusaders of Iblis (Satan)
The worst adversaries
The master of treachery
The wolves of the century!
Those who do not know peace
Non-existent in their vocabulary
Absence of sincerity
Devoid of sensitivity
Oh, Muslims please!
Respond to your brother in need
Muslims, where is the solidarity?
Abandoned by all entirely
What a sad reality!

However in my eyes here the incompetent mods of Ummah forum are to blame.
How many more will be locked up because of these fools promoting debate among foolish hot headed laymen, where emotions often get out of hand, forums are heavily watched but these fools knowing all this turn a blind eye to it and in the process youngsters get radicalised and start calling homegrown ulema biryani scholars etc. Its alarming to see how much support their is on there for ISIS on that forum
When you will support khariji groups like ISIS then my brothers just like anything else it comes with a PRICE
Wheres all his salafi boys now ? Gone and left him to rot in prison, nothing new though in that its an old trick something I've seen a lot over the years.
In the start it usually is the deluded Salafist foreigners mostly, later they move even beyond salafism and the new debate is that they are even out of the ahlus sunnah according to their actions.
However that's the new debate and a pretty large one
This cannot be undone and I am sure it will be greatly appreciated.
