Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullah,

The sad news are being verified that Hadhrat Mawlana Jamshed sahab from the Tablighi Raiwind Markaz has passed on to the Mercy of his Rabb!

Inna Lillaahi wa inna ilayhi raaji'oon

1940 Mawlana studied under Mawlana Salimullah Khan sahab (db) in Jalalabad and then became amongst the eminent teachers of the likes of Mawlana Tariq Jameel (db). He can truly be envied to meet his Lord with a life full of sacrifices for His sake! May Allah accept it, elevate his rank to the highest ranks and grant all his close ones and associates around the world Sabrun Jameel. Ameen...

The Janazah will most like be tomorrow (4th Nov) after Zuhr Salah, at the Raiwind Ijtema grounds.

A humble request from me and other friends to send Isaal-e-Thawab for Hadhrat Mawlana

As received from Darul Uloom Karachi 

Hadhrat Mawlana's rare Bayans were very anticipated by Jama'ats and visitors to the Raiwind Markaz. One reason for that was Mawlana being a quite jolly speaker. He liked to discuss the bounties of Paradise in detail and then make the gathering repeat what has been said to each other in small groups.

His son Mawlana Khurshid sahab (db) is definitely on his way to insha'Allah become himself one of the most senior Shuyukh of Markaz one day. He's a very close khadim of Ameer Haji Abdul Wahab sahab (db) and has accompanied Haji sahab on many journeys. He's also very fluent in Arabic and often seen to translate for the Shuyukh from or into Arabic. The one Raiwind ijtema I attended, Mawlana Khurshid was in charge of khedma of foreigners, so at food time you could see Mawlana himself serving food to the foreignes with curry stains all over his Kurta.

In my honest opinion Hazrat left behind such a Sadqa-e-Jariyah for himself, which could easily continue till the Last Day.

Maulana Jamshed was the adopted son of Hadhrat Thanwi Rahmatullaahi `Alayhi.

I asked this already on SF: Is there any source or proof for this? I'm not denying it to be true, but just want to make sure before sharing the info with others. Because it will naturally be hard to believe the first time...

His adopted son as mentioned in Ashraf us sawaneh is Hazrat Maulana Zafar Ahmed Uthmani رحمة الله عليه who was also his nephew. He was also fond of his other nephew from his step sister, Hazrat Maulana Ehtisham ul Haq Thanwi رحمة الله عليه , who settled in karachi later on.

Havent come across the name of Hazrat Maulana Jamshed sahab رحمة الله عليه in books..

wa Allahu alam..

wa Assalam..

Is it? Allaahu A`lam.

I have also just heard that Maulana Jamshed was his adopted son, but also have not seen any proof of it.
