Reminds me about the anecdote of Shaykh Saadi al-Shirazi. As a child he once performed Itikaf with his father and in the later portion of the night his father woke him up for Tahajjud. After seeing many people asleep Shaykh Saadi made this remark to his father: "Father, just see all these people sleeping at this auspicious time." His father immediately reprimanded him: "It was better for you to also stay asleep, than uttering the words which you just did!"
25) You are too strict and serious, at least enjoy the wrong actions of others instead of turning away. Maybe they will get attracted to you when you play along with them and then you can give dawah and naseehat.
28) Just go to the office party. So what if they will have alcohol there, its not like you'll be drinking it. Its okay to be around alcohol. Qur'an says don't drink it, it doesn't say you can't be around it
29) You've prayed your salah, recited Qur'an and have even finished with dunyaawi work. Kick back and relax and go watch some youtube. Chill out a little. Don't worry, you wont end up in haram or waste hours of your time, you have self-control. A few entertaining videos wont hurt, right?
30) So now you want to make salah? After committing that filthy sin? How can you stand in front of Allah after engaging in such fawaahish?
31) If you want to pass the exam, you'll have to cheat a little. Just a few quick glances to his paper wont hurt. Would you rather fail and disappoint your parents?
32) You must accumulate as much wealth as possible. You have a family to support. Do you want to end up on the street? Minimize your worship, do only the fardh and spend the rest of the time working. If you spend so much time on `ibaadah you will end up in poverty.
33) Why are you giving so much sadaqah? You still have the electricity bill, water bill, and heating bill to pay. Don't give so much, in fact, give it tomorrow or the day after.
34) Yes you backbite, but so what? Its just one sin. You pray tahajjud every night, you recite Qur'an and do abundant dhikr everyday. Obviously these goods deeds will outweigh your ONE sin of gheebah. Dont sweat it.
Thread title made me a litttle skeptic, not that I doubt ops and others good intentions.
The general rule of thumb is that Waswasa's should never be discussed, some whispers are as such that if you bring them on your lips then it can easily constitute Kufr. Please be very careful here, these are things not to be taken lightly and threads promoting others to talk about their whispers in my idea is not a good idea. Just some of my thoughts.
Absolutely hit the nail on the smashing head which leads naturally onto the next one:
35) Convincing oneself that filthy, untrue, and slanderous accusations are merely part of natural disagreement that need to be sold as academia to the few loyal poodles whom you have reared to faithfully tolerate or swallow every falsehood you serve in front of them.
Please stick to the current topic. Irrelevant posts, posts inciting a debate or disrespect towards another member will be removed without notice. Jazakumullah
The posts are starting to become personal. Please stick to the topic and while you may discuss the contents of the post, please do not turn it into debates of actions. It started off with genuine Waswaas and declined into personal attacks which are apparent as they are irrelevant to the general public.
Please do not post on personal experiences as Jinn has mentioned
38) Go ahead and post the same thing 5th time using multiple fonts and colors as others are not as smart as you are and didn't get the point the previous 4 times that you posted. Posting the same weak or fabricated narration the 5th time will make it Authentic (by magic).
37) Each whatever food you get doesn't matter how doubtful it looks. As long as the person selling you the food says its halal you are free from all blame.
This cannot be undone and I am sure it will be greatly appreciated.
