(bism1)

(salaam)

Lets use this thread to post some common tricks and wasaawis of the shaytaan. I'll start:

1) Who is going to marry you with that hijaab on? At least loosen it up a little and show your hair, its no big deal.

2) You are an `Aalim now, you need to DEMAND respect. Dont stand for anything else. What is their knowledge compared to yours?

3) You commit all sorts of sins yet you keep a beard? How can you watch these filthy movies while keeping a beard. You are disrespecting the sunnah. Lose the beard so you dont end up bringing disgrace to the sunnah.

4) Dont worry, its just a minor sin. Allah is Ghafur-ur-Raheem.

5) Its okay, just go wild. Then make tawbah when you're done. Allah's mercy is infinite.

Please add more, insha'Allah.

6) You are so old, why start making salah now? You spent your entire life in sin, you think Allah will forgive you?

7) You are young, you have a whole life to live ahead of you. Worry about becoming practicing later. For now, just go out and live out your youth.

8) Its JUST a sunnah. You dont HAVE to do it.

9) Its only MAKRUH. Its not HARAM or anything.

10) How pious are you! Spent the whole night in `ibaadah and now you are about to pray salaatul ishraaq. You are definitely forgiven. They key's to Jannah are practically in your hands!

This post has been reported. It could be due to breaking rules or something as simple as bad use of bbcodes which breaks the page format. We will attend to this soon.

12) Losing hope - Feeling guilt seems to be a kind of punishment, even after making astaghfar with tawbah you're still feeling guilty, maybe because Allah is still angry with you and may not have forgiven you yet.

The single most (important) calamity in my opinion in the Ummah at this point is apostasy or near enough to it where people remain Muslim by name but at heart there is no belief. In my experience with dealing with such people it stems from “lose of hope” and simple things like I did Istikhara but why did I fail sort of thoughts and then getting despondent.

When the thought occurs regarding wearing full Hijab:

"Whats the point, everyone you know has already seen you"

"How are you going to be able to go out in the heat of summer?"

"You cannot now go to restaurants, outings, social gatherings"

"You missed Fajr already, what's the point now? Start from tomorrow!"

"Yes, not something islamically ideal to do... you're right! But are you an ideal Muslim?"

19) You don't have to prove your piety to others with hijaab, beard, etc. Allah Ta'aala already knows what is in your heart.

20) Those things (hijaab, beard, etc.) are just political statements! Only people aligned with a particular party practice such things.

21) You saw the Prophet ( sallallahu alayhi wa sallem) in your dream, remember? You are the beloved of Allah Ta'aala - He loves you more than others; and, you open your hands in duaa to him before you sleep every night - so there is no need to pray salaah.

22) Do you seriously think a practicing, Allah fearing, lover of Allah Ta'aala, His prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallem), and sunnah is ever going to consider you a suitable match? Don't be silly! You'll never get married!

23) So what if they aren't practicing... You're getting old, pretty soon even such people won't consider you for marriage.

24) Marry based on deen? Are you kidding? You don't deserve them, you are a sinner, you aren't good enough! Look at this option instead... spend some time together and get to know them a little first - just to be sure.

Khala,

This is a very important area; any material on this matter on the Internet i.e. about women who didn't use to cover and now do?

Regarding Optional Worship:

Be it optional Salaah or Fasts;
"Its optional and you wont get any sin if you leave it out"

Then when one does get the inclination to get up for Tahajjud, after two rakats;
"At least you've prayed two, there are many who remain sleeping"

Exactly how do you mean? Like real life experiences of women who did not wear niqab before?
