Assalamu Alaikum

What is the correct way of pronouncing the addition in the fajr adhan. Is the pronunciation with idgham like khairum minan naum, or without like khairun minan naum. I heard it both ways online.

When quoting Ahadith and having general conversation in Arabic or giving a khutba, should you apply the rules of idgham?

Yes that is what I am accustomed to but I have an alarm app and the in the adhan it sounds like the person says khairun instead if khairum. I was just wondering if that is ok. Maybe he it just isn't clear on the app.
