Brother, indulging in wrong here means participating in an action that is a Biddah, kurf or shirk and should be understood in context of the thread.

As Ali says, these ulama can't control everything. Take into consideration "taking part in the lesser evil" surely that doesn't meant doing a biddah to please everyone except Allah!

Multiple people have said the same thing but you don’t seem to have the capacity to grasp it OR you are a troll and needs to be banned!

Anyone who has spent 15 minutes with Tableeghi Jamaat will grasp this instantly. The work on Tableeghi Jamaat is based on Mushwara and working under the guidance of Ulama and Mashaykh; it isn’t based on random Ijtehaad by individuals (don’t know where you get this idea from).

Before sending a Jamaat a thorough Karguzari is heard of the area/Masjid so the Jamaat (when picked by the Markaz) is aware of the circumstances and the Jamaat is picked to deal with the situation.

IF a Jamaat encounters an uncertain situation then Mushwara is done and again there is no such thing as individual Ijtehaad (dynamic or static).

So basically your 7 pages are full of RANT because if you CLAIM to be with Tableeghi Jamaat and have such CARE for the Ummah you CANNOT exercise your (dynamic Ijtehaad) whatever that is because if PROCEED with Jamaat (Insha’Allah) you will be subject to guidance of Markaz (Scholars, Mashaykh and old workers) and then by your Ameer.

If by (unfortunate circumstances) you find yourself to be the Ameer then you will still be subject to Mushwara and there are no “Hitler tactics” involved.

And we Thank Allah (SWT) for that because guidance is in obeying the commands of Allah (SWT) and following the Sunnah and not your "dynamic Ijtehaad".

Lets get back on track here. The bro didn't say this particular innovation he willingly carried out was done in Tableeghi Jamaat.

He said it was a one off situation, but will repeat this bidat if the need arises. So lets leave TJ's out for now even though he did mention them later. I got a feeling of one of those "Recent Activities on MS" situations thread (for those who know what I mean)

This is his personal doing and is backing it up with the wrong excuses.

I tell you what, bro ahamed_sharif, shall I light a candle in your name near the grave of the wali and let your friend know that I'm only doing it because ahamed_sharif sent me and who knows, it might just be a means of guidance for the whole ummah.

Ahamed Sharif, it seems from what's being said here that dynamic ijtihad is fine if the ulama do it but not so if non-ulama such as yourself. Kanzoorbhai and others have given many examples of ulama relaxing rules for dawah and the greater good. Respectable ulama such as mufti menk and others don't be too picky with purdah rules because dawah is more important even if there's free-mixing involved. you're thinking is nearly correct, all you have to do is get permission from a qualified alim before relaxing the shariah. Otherwise imagine the problems if every person is allowed to decide for himself.

Regarding guidance for my approach:

I took guidance from a famous Ahle-karamah personality who was source for hidayah of thousands of Indian muslim families. He is no more. May Allah SWT shower his rahmah on his grave. Gujarati brothers know him. Wallah! I shall not disclose his name.

My problem is; I would like to delete this post after a day or too. But I leave it to moderators.

salaam

but where will this "dynamic ijtihad" begin and where will it end? which one is acceptable and which do we reject?

1. ijtihad not from an established ruling, but from a minor ruling from within ones own madhab?

2. ijtihad not from ones own madhab, but from within any of the other madhabs?

3. ijtihad not from any madhab, but from within the quran and the hadith?

4. ijtihad not from the quran and hadith, but from bidah and shirk?

which one of these is the OP advocating?

salaam

what was the point of posting this if you do not disclose his name? if you disclose his name then others can try to understand your approach by comparing it to that of this person.

what is so secret about his name that you cannot post it?

I don't like a situation where your good deeds get transfered to this Ahle-karamat's grave.

The ijtihad similar to Hakeemul Imamat's ijazah to the villagers to carry on with the shirk and bidah of Muharrams.

there's a difference between giving permission to do an act and choosing not to stop an act initially.

take the examples of alcohol which not forbidden immediately but eventually.

there were two evils, one was worse, these mujtahideen will approach such situations in manners we will not understand.

a huge problem I've noticed nowadays is complete disregard and understanding of situations and circumstances. while rulings do not change, the approach, advice, priorities and choose of action will always be different. One medicine will not cure every illness

How different is this Ijtihad that you are advocating to that of the Ahle Hadees Ghayr Muqallids?

After advocating this Ijtihad, will you cease to condemn and refute Ahle Hadees Ghayr Muqallids?
