As an answer it is complete. It's covered all aspects. Ruling and preferred course of action (to mention prior to marriage).
I read your post fully and I highly recommend you send it to them as the Wa'eed in Ahadeeth about those who deal with alcohol in any form and why it must be addressed strongly in the answer. The answer makes the act of selling intoxicants seem very light so you felt very uneasy when reading it.
Not forgetting that the answer itself fully answers the question. But your point is valid without taking away from the correctness of the answer.
