In this Answer the musfti says the nikah is valid if it was a secret one means without no wali!
i have read some ahadeeth which states "there is no marriage without a wali " perhaps Prophet S.A.W.W said this 3 times which justfies how important it is!
please do guide me whats happening here?
There are plenty of things we don't fully understand and if we start learning from Hadith what we read directly, we will be more confused. Our pious predecessors have put together rulings using all the evidence and finalized the schools for us according to that. So if we read a Hadith and it doesn't correspond to a specific answer by a reliable scholar, then we have little understanding on the issue.
This cannot be undone and I am sure it will be greatly appreciated.
