I mean, even a simple web site or blog can have severe Mukhalafat. As long as Deeni work is with Mashwarah/consent/guidance of Ulamaa-e-Haq then don't let Mukhalafat shake you as that's a sign of acceptance.

Please note that this was said to students becoming Alims. Thread title "Acceptance for the Students of Knowledge"

The concept in my earlier post on Mukhalafat may not be grasped by everyone so if you do not understand it, it's best to leave it at that. Jzk

Mocking in any form can be considered opposing. Many people are guilty of mocking when opposing something including myself. However, light banter or joking amongst family or friends is a different matter and shouldn't be taken too seriously. But it's very important to remind them that light jokes and banter can lead to mocking and ridiculing Deeni work.

A Tablighi ask me once "what did the Tablighi policeman give the driver of a speeding car?" I asked "what?" he said "6 points" - this wasn't mocking at the time.

The same joke was said by someone attacking Tabligh. This was mocking the work. So I think it's easy to identify what's joking and what's mocking. Sometimes people disguise mocking the form of sarcastic praising.... (lengthy topic, long post will have to continue later inshaAllah if I get the chance)

Yaa ayyuhal Mawlana, I do grasp the whole matter. I was just presenting a silly argument and my intention was to figure out a sound reply to refute it. I don't know about any thread discussing this issue, so I've presented here despite knowing the fact that it's off topic.

Jazakumullahukhairan.

And those who mock or you dont find a welcoming attitude.. later they come to you.. Subhaan Allah.. In the beginning its a test or there are tests but then Allah blesses the person with His mercy.

Brother Blackturban: You must know the difference between Haq and Batil.

According to Imam Abu Hanifa, a person who doesnt pray is not wajib ul qatal. According to Imam Hanbal he is wajib ul qatal. What if some so called scholar wakes up in 20th century and says.. A person who doesnt pray isnt sinful..
Do you see the difference between haq and batil..

Hazrat Thanwi رحمة الله عليه has explained it quite well in his Malfuzaat. He says:

" I shall show you a wonderful criterion by means by which Haqq and Batil may be recognized in ambiguous and doubtful cases. Even if there happens to be no Alim around, you will be able to distinguish between Haqq and Batil on the basis of this standard.

Regarding new and innovated things, find out who are the originators. Are the originators laymen or pious Ulama. If the originators are pious Ulama, then such things, e.g. Madrasahs, Khanqas, Darul Iftas, etc are part and parcel of the Deen. The introduction of such things was inspired into the hearts of the pious Ulama. Practices such as urs, fatiha, third-day, seventh-day khatm, etc., which were introduced by the laity (ordinary people -non-ulama) are not part of the Deen. By means of this standard, all innovations and new practices may be distinguished and recognized to be either Haqq or Batil."

So Maulana Yasin sahab (db) statement perfectly syncs here "As long as Deeni work is with Mashwarah/consent/guidance of Ulamaa-e-Haq then don't let Mukhalafat shake you as that's a sign of acceptance."

wa Assalam..

Yaa Zhal 'Imaamatis-Sawdaa, the grasping portion wasn't to you directly I promise that why I chose not quote your post. I typed that because this is not something clear cut because it's not from "Qur'aan & Sunnah" so many will find faults with it (even as constructive questions). It was simply an advice as reassurance given by a very capable Maulana to a few students who were given a hard time by friends and colleagues for doing good progressive work at their school.

That's why I said if anyone doesn't grasp the concept it's okay. And as I already thought of what you mentioned about Baatil groups claiming the same I added the extra portion which I highlighted after to clarify that.

Honestly, the message was general because I didn't want to reply constantly explaining something which was just words of wisdom and advice.

You could not have been more accurate. In the incident I'm referring to, the strongest opposer actually took over that same work 2 years later.

The job of Shaytaan is to demoralize and break the back of Haqq and Shaytaan will use every tool (including humans) for the purpose. Its upto people to be wise and not to be used.

Unfortunately a large number of Brothers (and Sisters) don't have the capability to be able to think as to what damage they are doing specially to the morale and well being of others.

There is a Revert Sister with special needs and not knowing much about Islam she decided to create some youtube videos on Islam...All the Sisters jumped on her so she edited out herself and added some natural scenery, they jumped on her that she shouldn't have her voice on youtube so she tried to scramble it so they then said that her mannerism isn't appropriate for a Muslim woman (she was using wit and humor to take about Islam)....Do you know what happened in the end? She closed her channel gave up on everything (and Muslims)!

Her Dawah was her way of letting out her out and it could have been handled differently.

When it comes to Deobandees try asking for people to help you with something "positive" i.e. proof reading, designing, translating and all of a sudden you have the humility of Hasan Al-Basri (RA) evident:

  1. I am a simple person
  2. I don't have much knowledge
  3. I don't think I am capable
  4. I think I will make mistakes
  5. I don't have access to Ulama

So you start the work (yourself) and in thousands of pages of output there are 5 paragraphs which can be perceived to be negative towards their Shaykh or Maulana or Mufti, the very same Deobandees will turn into Imam Bukahri (RA) in knowledge and Salahuddin Ayyubi (RA) in persistent war with you. All of a sudden they will plenty of time as well...

All of a sudden you are turned from "Masha'Allah, Masha'Allah great work" to "Dajjal"
