This age for this ummah is full of trials and tribulations. Sadly the Incidents of killing, rape, sabotage, physical /mental torture, humiliation, depriving of fundamental rights on humanitarian grounds etc are so common that any crime against Muslims appears to be a trivial issue as if it were not a crime.

Leave China, even Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and other neighbouring countries which are Muslim populated though don't allow their citizens to follow Islam freely. Even many masajid have been changed into market places. According to Sh. Hanif Luharvi HA who, with his pupils, visited the grave of Hazrat Imam Bukhari rh.a, told in a lecture that when he intended to pray the salah in a masjid, he saw that only the nearby part of the pulpit was remained vacant for the musallin and rest of the masjid was occupied by the shopkeepers and surprisingly people were taking their photographs.

The Chinese authorities have been doing all they can to discourage Muslim Uighurs from fasting since Ramadan began. Free slices of watermelon were handed out in the middle of the day at Urumqi’s University of Medicine in Xinjiang, a region with a huge Muslim Uighur population.

While the world’s Muslims and those inside China have the right to fast during Ramadan, at the University of Medicine in Xinjiang they force Uighur students to eat melons. They threaten those who refuse, saying that they’ll take their diplomas away. It’s a violation of the Chinese constitution. There is no true freedom of religion here.

Though Islam is legal in China, our Observers say that the authorities in the Xinjiang region are increasingly clamping down on the religion and its followers. This food handout is just one of many examples in which China has tried to pressure the country’s Uighurs. Civil servants have come under the most pressure, according to several official Chinese websites and official minutes taken during Communist Party meetings in Xinjiang. Measures taken include banning them from taking part in traditional religious practices that have anything to do with Ramadan, such as fasting or prayer gatherings. They’ve also been given the “responsibility” of discouraging friends, family, and colleagues from observing religious rituals and so-called “superstitions”. At the same time, official media outlets have been keen to stress that fasting during Ramadan could lead to health problems.

These restrictions weigh most heavily in the Xinjiang region in northwestern China, home to the country’s Uighurs. Along with a scattering of other Muslim minority groups, these Turkish-speaking Sunni Muslims make up 45% of the region’s population. Since the 1950s, the Chinese government has invested heavily in the region, which is rich in oil and natural gas, in a bid to encourage the country’s dominant ethnic group, Han Chinese, to settle there. The Han now make up 40% of the population. Tensions have been boiling over the past few years as China’s Uighurs fight back against attempts to make Xinjiang overwhelmingly Han Chinese. There have been frequent riots and in October 2013, an attack on Tiananmen Square led by a group of Uighur separatists left five people dead and 38 injured.

Assalamu 'alaykum brothers and sisters,

Whilst muslims suffer worldwide, victims from Myanmar, Shaam, Yaman still get at least international attention and help is somewhat delivered, even though the situation is still a shame for Islam and we muslims.
However, muslims in China get close to no zttention, the uyghurs struggle is well known (follow mobile.twitter.com/abdughenisabit on twitter if ignorant about their struggle) and now even the Hui muslims are getting pressured, China clearly wants Islam eradicated and no country will step us because of China's commercial dominance over all of our countries.
My thought is that we should organise a tweetstorm, ie the maximum number of muslims tweet about it so that China's officials get embarassed that the issue will be known to western medias, and I am confident chinese are receptive of how their countries is viewed. For that we need the maximum number of influential and learned people from communities to get involved.
Who is ready to organise this ?

Nowadays repressive countries like China or Egypt care much about the civil mobilisation against their images.
We can do something big if all muslims protest on social medias. Articles will be written about mobilisation and it may halt thr suffering. Aren't you guys interested ? We have to use the tools available to us.
