In S.A taraweeh usually ends at around 8.30pm and suhoor ends at 5.30am.

The fasts are exactly 12 hours long - 5:30am until 5:30pm.

No, in mid-summer the fasts are 15-16 hours long. 15 hours and 40 minutes being the longest, if i'm not mistaken.

Rejoice brothers cause in fact you're acting like the salafs did :

Imam Malik reported that 'Umar commanded Ubayy and Tameem to lead the people in prayer with chapters that were longer than 100 verses (mi'een) such that people would lean on their sticks due to the length of the prayer, and we did not leave until fajr had almost entered.' He also reported that Ubay said: 'When we used to finish from our night prayers in Ramadan we would hurry our servants in serving suhoor out of fear that fajr would enter.' Likewise, the hadeeth: "Indeed, the prayer towards the end of the night is witnessed (mashoodah), and that is better."

Insha'Allah when ramadhan will come back again in summer in 30 years we will have good memories of this special time.

That's excellent, but here the situations is not the same. The Taraweeh is the same as every year. Guess we get to experience many different things living in the UK.

During the winter months, Iftar is at 4.30pm and not 9.30pm as it is now. Plus all those Muslims who live further up North, they have a much longer fast.
