Is this thread really necessary right now? Isn't the blessed month of Ramadhan just upon us? What is the purpose of creating a thread like this but to create bad feelings among fellow Muslims (As can be already seen with all the red).

Personally speaking the administrating on SF, stinked.

People got away with casual and lazed conversations with the opposite gender. Some of the staff too were involved and each time you disagreed with a scholar or ruling from a particular scholar you got hammered or thrown out like yesterday's garbage.

MuftiSays is the exact opposite of all that from my experience and, thumbs up for Maulana Yasin for really doing a splendid job on here.

Jazakallah for unlocking thread for me to post this with permission.

3 x 50 reps - wow. I guess bravery does have its rewards.

I requested thread to be unlocked so I can say that it's quite shocking how incapable SF obsessed members can be in understanding a simple simple question and start comparing. I mean it's still going on. Why are you comparing? From the feedback it seems like SF is like Makkah. Harsh and decisive in their decisions according to their opinion. And MS is like Madinah. Hospitable and genuinely kind. We have Muhajireen here too lol

So would you compare Makkah and Madinah? It makes no sense to compare. Both are great. The dislikes in my earlier posts are clearly just SF obsessed blind cult-like behaviour so I won't bother with those kids. I bet none of them really read my question. They just saw the words "damaged" and "SF" and instantly clicked dislike. But the rep awards made my day lol, such a silly yet brilliant feature.

I'd like to conclude the thread now and request for it to be locked again as I've got my answers from some of the replies that SF definitely had an affect on them negatively as it did on me and I feel SF made a wise and truly amazing decision to stop the madness. If this is what they were putting up with then I give them a lot more credit for their decision than others would realise.

@MS - don't let these ppl destroy MS - this thread was an eye opener on how serious people take forums and an online community which does have its place and importance but this hatred is just wow. I mean really wow.
