The question in that blog is not whether it is Halaal or not. It is about the fact whether these fizzy drinks and other products contain alcohol or not. Muadh has fought bravely on the part of Coca cola proving with great effort that their products don't contain any alcohol. It looks like Akaabir is trying to show that Muadh's claims are not so definite as he has tried to make them be.

While I research the various opinions given, ask the Brothers if they accept the testing of MCG as conclusive and therefore if they consider Pepsi permissible to drink as their own writing shows for it to be clear?

So can you drink Pepsi based on the same results by the same lab?

I also dont understand how in the world can you say tests revealed no alcohol. Did you even bother reading or did you do it deliberately? How can you know that they sent to testing and gave 1200$ but not know the result?

He was not called fasiq for drinking coca cola but was used in the context of the ayat. The ayat declares that if a fasiq comes to you with news then verify it. Theres a difference in the both. Vast difference. The accussed has clearly shuffled the results.

Guest3934 is correct. The blog does not even touch the topic of coca cola halal or haram. The blog is just showing dishonesty of muadh to claim that muslim consumer group's tests revealed no alcohol.

According to ingredients soft drinks are not Haram. Until it is published otherwise by Ulamaa dedicated to this such as Mufti Abdullah Patel of GMWA, I recommend stepping back from these issues.

For many other reasons, it's better to refrain and according to some Ulamaa is Haram.

Do what your heart tells you. Not your Nafs. This argument is more than 20 years old.

Thread will remain locked and all future threads on soft drinks will also be locked. I see no purpose of this.

I have stopped drinking ALL coca cola products not because of the ingredients. I recommend you do the same if you can.
