One more thing that I wantd to know was can less water intake cause bp to rise bcos im very bad at drinking water but am very fond of aerated drinks. Last pregnancy used to drink abt 1-2 glasses of water everyday and cokes n pepsis abt 1-1.5ltrs every day. I know I am sounding silly but just was wondering if this act had any role in my bp rise last time.

No they are not related.

As far your current pregnancy. Your gynaec friend is right, the complications can be mild, severe or fatal. It has a huge chance to follow the pattern of the 2nd pregnancy. That is, fetus not getting adequate blood supply hence growth retardation. Plus more importantly organ damage to the mother. Even if this pregnancy goes incident free, if your bp is high for so many months, it will cause microscopic damage to your organs, especially the kidneys. Also there is a chance of seizures if pre-eclamsia is not controlled. Plus a recent c section doesn't help. Since you had gastrointestinal bleeding previously, it can reoccur in case of uncontrolled bp in this pregnancy.

Too many complications that are possible. I don't ve the expertise of a gynaecologist, but still there are too many complications that are coming up in my mind. But we doctors won't be able to say something 'will' happen. But the probability for a complication is medium to high. Since you have done mashawara now Do istikhara and make the final decision inshaAllah.

May Allah Ta'ala protect you, ameen.

Ok brother umar, inshallah will re do istikhara. As of now my bp alhamdulillah is under control like never above 130/80 . Before this pregnancy I did not take meds to keep my bp in control and besides last pregncy right from 6th week onwards my bp was above 140/90 but this tym alhamdulillah its still in control bi iznillah. So if my bp is under control and later on in pregnancy if it rises still are there chances of severity and risk to life?

Personally not qualified to comment at all, however every parent will tell you to drink plenty of water on ZERO amounts of Ckoe and Pepsi and their likes. These drinks are killers.

In Pregnancy induced Hypertention and in preeclamsia, the hypertension starts after 20weeks of pregnancy. Often its after 34 weeks.
Once the onset occurs, as already mentioned, the end result can be mild, severe or fatal. Allah alone knows the outcome. I m not sure about the percentage chances. But there is a risk and there is a possibility for it to be fatal. A gynaecologist will be able to give you a more clear picture on percentage chances. Do have a long discussion with a gynaecologist before you make a decision.

U said it all in this sentence.." there is a risk and there is a possibility for it to be fatal. A gynaecologist will be able to give you a more clear picture on percentage chances. Do have a long discussion with a gynaecologist before you make a decision."
istikhara should definately be done (if possible thrice) before taking any final decision..

Sister,
really sorry to hear of your predicament, please keep in mind outcome is in Allah سبحانه وتعالى hands, we seek guidance from professionals in the respected fields according to our needs, then take their advice accordingly.

Due to high blood pressure you will be monitored closely, if in the unlikely event either your life or the babies life is under threat, you will be advised and treated accordingly.

To me it sounds like your struggling with the issue of termination, from what the Dr's on here have already said the gynecologist who is monitoring you will give you the best advice and will only advise you according to the best interest of you and your baby.....and yes istikhara as previously mentioned to back up and support any advice given.

Jazakallah sisters n brothers. Plzz pray for me if u remember. Inshallah wil do istikhara again. Ive been in tension right frm day 1. But now I hav a picture of things in front of me. Jazakallah to both the drs here and brother abu mohammad , brother muadh and sister taalibah.when I went for my chkup on monday I askd my gynae if later in pregnancy things go bad is termination possibl. She said u had enuff tym before the heartbeat showed up to decide abt termintaion but u hav already taken the call to keep it.so v wil hav to plan things accordingly but no one can say for sure how mild or how severe it can go .and if its very severe then u wil b in icu which is going to b no joke. She said at the back of mind I feel therZ a wisdom of allah bwhind this miracle and at the same time ur life. She said u hav 2 weeks if u wanna go ahead with termination but if not pray , which is the only hope, for everything to go well and go with the flow. But now inshallah that I hav ur mashwaras I wil do istikhara again. May allah make it easy not only on me but on everyone going thru similar situations and dicey situations. Ameen
