Masaha'Ala we had a good time, got tashkeeled to Balckburn and Burnley, Blackburn is very strong in terms of Deen work and they had loads of masaajid and ulema but manu Ulema were out in khurooj due to many takaazas and other commitments , stayed at Blackburn Markaz too and met Maulana Talha, awesome guy with some ajeeb karguzaaries, also I got a electrifying grilling from a few elders randomly at times for no reason whatsoever however thier was a lot of targheeb and hikmah in their for me, they probably had some kashf or something Walahu Alam, last tashkeel was in Burnley, the Imam of the masjid now I believe an alim he mentioned to us he how became a muslim, his old name was 'Lal jee', he was a Hindu before and became muslim around age 14/15, he said it was two things that bought him to Islam. one was Tahaara ( cleanliness) the second was 'Akbar'. He said that he used to go somewhere to learn some musical instrument and the guy who was his teacher was a muslim had the Quran on his desk or something, he wanted to touch the Quran but he wouldn't let him as he would say your not clean you need to purify yourself, so this made him curious that I jump into the water well/stream every day, so what cleanliness are you talking about ? Secondly he said the Muslims say 'Allah Akbar', he said I only knew about the mughal king Akbar as they studied him in school, so it got him interested and eventually bought him to Islam that Allah is Akbar and no one else. Then he mentioned some other stories about the power of Ayatul Kursi and I think he also mentioned something about meeting one of the old Akaabir, who visited their village so the people made him sleep where they used to have problems with Jinns, he goes Jinn came trying to scare him and when he realised this is Hazrat jee the jinn says I come to do your deedar lol, anyway jinn gets a telling off as to why he's annoying people and hazratjee reads ayatul kursee and causes him disappear, he mentions from that time hes always done the wird of ayatul kursi and its always protected him, the guy is an old man now. Ajeeb guy he wanted to become muslim and no one would let him due to his age and due to the village/town he lived in as it was 400 houses of Hindus and less than maybe 50 of muslims, people would say that it'll kick off between hindus and muslims so don't plus your too young. He would question them, that the books in school say were all brothers regardless of religion so why this hatred and cautiousness ? Then he mentions how he told his mother that he wants to convert and she used to tell him to be quiet and follow his forefathers, then he says my mother used to put the parsaat ( I think thats what its called ) out in front of their hindu gods and later on a dog would come and eat it or lick it and he would show her look the dogs eating your gods food and you accept him to benefit you ? Then he mentioned that due to no help he managed to learn some surahs and all the kalimah's by himself, he went somewhere to some hazratjee to convert but first he said no due to his age then due to him being so adamant he said okay go on, he said say the kalima, this little boy at that time said all 6 kalimas, the hazratjee said to him that your already a muslim. Then he mentions after Islam, Allah gave him everything, a wife a house, utensils etc. Ajeeb man I've tried to keep it short but seriously my words can't do it justice. That's all I can remember now even though I'm sure there was more. I've written this in a hurry so apologies in advance if it sounds like a mess.
Do you order people to do good and forget your own selves, even though you have read the book, do you not have sense? (Quran)

One of the wise men of the past said:
âI passed by a village in Egypt seeking to engage in Ribat (guarding the Muslim frontier against the disbelievers), when suddenly I passed by a man in sitting in the dark. He was missing his eyes, as well as his hands and legs. He was suffering all types of difficulty, while saying: âPraise be to You, Allah â a praising that combines the praises of all of Your Creation â for what You have blessed me with, and preferred me greatly over many of those whom You have Created.â
So, I said to him: âFor what blessing are you praising Allah? For what preference are you thanking Him for? By Allah, I do not see any type of difficulty except that you are experiencing it!â
So, he said: âDo you not see what has happened to me? By Allah, if He were to cause the heavens to rain fire down upon me, and I were to be burned up because of it, and He were to command the mountains to crush me, and He were to command the oceans to drown me, I would not increase except in praising and thanks to Him, and I request something of you: I have a daughter who used to serve me and break my fast with me. Can you see if you can find her?â
I said to myself: âBy Allah, I hope that in fulfilling the request of this pious servant, I will gain nearness to Allah â the Mighty and Majestic.â So, I went out looking for her in the desert to discover that she had been eaten by wild beasts. I said to myself: âTo Allah we belong and to Him we return! How will I tell this pious servant that his daughter had died?â So, I went to him and asked him: âAre you better in the Sight of Allah than Prophet Ayyub? Allah put him to trial with his wealth and his children and family.â
He replied: âNo, rather, Ayyub is better!â
I said: âWell, the daughter that you had asked me to find, I found that she has been eaten by wild beasts.â
He said: âPraise be to Allah who has taken me out of this World without putting in my heart any love for it.â Then he collapsed, and died.
I said: âTo Allah we belong and to Him we return! Who will help me to wash his body and bury it?â Suddenly, a group of horsemen engaging in Ribat passed by, so I motioned for them to stop. They came over, so I informed them of what had happend, so we washed the manâs body, shrouded it and buried it in this village, and the group of men then went on their way.
I spent the night in the village unable to leave this man. When a third of the night had passed, I began dreaming that I was with him in a green garden. He was wearing two beautiful green garments, and he was standing up and reciting the Qurâan. I said to him: âAre you not my companion from yesterday?â
He said: âYes, I am.â
I said: âHow did you reach your current state (of health and happiness)?â
He replied: âI have reached a level that none of the patient reach, except those who are patient during times of calamity and thankful during times of ease.â"
âOnce I was with Khabbaab Ű±Ű¶Ù Ű§ÙÙÙ ŰčÙÙ, so we went out to the masjid and he grabbed my hand and said to me, âSeek nearness unto Allaah to the best of your ability for surely you cannot get close to Him with something more beloved to Him than His Speech.â â
How many of us neglect the Holy Quran ? Reminder to myself first.
Shaikh Ibn Uthaymeen (Rahimahullah) said:
âIf you see that you have turned away from something from Allaahâs Religion or you see that you have turned away from the Book of Allaah, the Mighty and Majestic, either from reciting its [actual] words, or reciting it [by pondering over] its meaning, or reciting it by acting on it, then it is obligatory on you to cure yourselfâand know that the cause of that turning away is sins.â

Hadrat Mufti Jamil Ahmed of Jamia Ashrafia Lahore used to relate a story about a cowhand outside of Lahore whose only work was raising and milking cows. He developed an intense desire to see Bait Ullah but naturally was very poor and had no means.
After continuously asking people how he could go to Hajj someone finally told him that he could not go from Lahore but that pilgrims leave on ships from Karachi. Hence this cowhand boarded a train and reached Karachi. He asked the same questions of people at the station and was told that pilgrims left after gathering at the Haji Camp at the seaport.
The Haji Camp was far but fortunately some people who were going by that way offered him a ride and left him at the camp. Now this cowhand observed pilgrims boarding and leaving on ships for many days and wondered what he could do since he neither had proper documentation nor any money for the journey.
He observed porters boarding and leaving the ships after helping the pilgrims with their luggage and was determined to somehow board one of the ships. One of the porters told him that he could only board the ship if he was wearing a porter uniform, and so he talked the porter into lending him a jacket which he would send back with some of the luggage being brought off the ship. This porter agreed and so this cowhand managed to smuggle himself onboard one of the ships bound for Jeddah.
The ship got underway and he asked a pilgrim named Abdullah to let him know when Jeddah was near. The ship neared Jeddah at nightfall and so this person let the cowhand know that Jeddahâs lights were visible and the captain had announced they would be docking soon. This cowhand mounted the shipâs railing and dived off the edge into the sea. Abdullah was shocked and ran to the edge to see if he would come up but it was dark and so Abdullah feared that the cowhand must surely have drowned.
As Abdullah performed Hajj and was leaving after the Tawaf-e-Ziyarah he noticed the same cowhand he had met on the ship dressed in fine white robes. They met enthusiastically and Abdullah asked what had happened to him. His friend invited him to his house so they could talk at leisure.
Once outside the Haram, Abdullah saw the cowhand get into a brand new limousine with a driver in front. He was perplexed and asked what was going on. The cowhand said that the car and driver were his and he would explain everything at home.
Abdullah was even more at a loss when the limousine pulled up in front of a beautiful mansion and so asked his friend to tell him everything that had happened. Thus the cowhand started explaining.
He explained to Abdullah that he neither had paperwork nor money but a desperate desire to perform Hajj so he had jumped overboard. He did not know how to swim but half-drowned he reached the shores of Jeddah.
He laid half-conscious until dawn when he searched of a way out of the port and noticed a house. There he saw that two men were trying to milk a cow but the cow was not cooperating because the men obviously did not know the technique required.
After observing their unsuccessful efforts for some time, he motioned to these men that he could milk the cow if they would let him. The men agreed and so the cowhand situated himself next to the cow. Being a specialist at handling cows he was able to milk enough to fill not only one but two pails for the men.
By the grace of Allah the owner of this house was the superintendent in charge of the port, and his wife wanted milk for her children. They had been very unsuccessful at handling their cow and so their children would remain hungry. The wife was so glad at having so much milk for the children that her husband said they would hire the cowhand permanently to milk their cow.
The cowhand explained his situation and the superintendent forgave him for not having his paperwork and would arrange everything if only he would stay and milk the cow. This cowhand was a simple man and insisted that he only wanted to perform Hajj. The superintendent said he would arrange this too.
It so happened that the superintendentâs father-in-law had a dairy farm on which he kept one to two hundred cows, and he too was having difficulty finding a specialist at milking his cows. The wife was so impressed that she called her father and boasted about their new cowhand and how beneficial he could be for the diary farm.
They sent their new employee to the dairy farm where he very easily and efficiently milked many cows. The owner was very impressed and saw the solution to his problems. He offered the cowhand a job at the dairy farm but all the cowhand said he wanted to do was perform Hajj after which he had to return to his family.
The dairy farm owner was naturally very rich and was not about to see his new discovery get away. Hence he said that he would not only provide the cowhand a house and car by which he could go to Hajj and also Umra every day if he wanted to, but would also arrange the necessary paperwork to have the cowhandâs family brought over to live on the farm.
The cowhand concluded his story saying that everything was now his whereas all he had set out to accomplish was see the House of Allah.
