brother im saying i do know people who have been in and out of prison, i'm not going to go into details about them BUT even if i knew 100 people, this small 100 out of the 1000's of people in prison (many different prisons) isn't enough for me to know the whole siuation in prison - that make sense to you?? so same way you know however many people who have been inside that ISN'T evidence for your claim of muslim gangs run prisons a claim you put on the WORLD WIDE WEB. im not asking for your sources im asking for evidences. when did i ever claim i know the whole situation all i said was the brothers i know have differed to what your saying. rather than trying to debate me just provide some evidence and ''my friend told me something'' doesn't count. even if you did a youtube video (which again please don't try mock me) what would that prove?? that is not proof. so you got 50 people to make videos that means muslim gangs run prisons?? and rather than trying to debate me i askied a question on my last post - something a bit constructive but you ignore it and try debate me again.
and why am i a troll/wasting my time for using this forum but your not??

Please read my posts in this thread again, hopefully they'll make more sense to you this time. I'm going to stop repeating myself now.

The YouTube vid remark was sarcasm, if you differ with my view then bring forth some evidence if any, right now it's what I know against what you know and were not going to agree with each other ( I've probably repeated this sentence a few times already now just like many others ) Also I'm not trying to make you believe anything or prove anything to you which I have also repeated above. This is my view and if you do/don't want to believe it then that's fine, but I'll stick with my sources, thanks.

You're a classic example of a troll and this thread proves it all we have been doing is going round in circles, need to stop feeding the troll now.

brother you made the claim 'muslim gangs ru prisons' so the evidence is upon you, i questioned your claim due to what i know, and i asked you for evidence. you didn't say 'muslim gangs run prisons according to what i know'. akhi im advising you as a muslim, don't call me names, basic adab.

salaams heres a post i sent earlier in the thread
sorry above i meant to say im not here to argue that im right and your wrong. i wasn't saying that i am right and that you are wrong. sorry for any confusion or offence caused
so don't know how you reached the conclusion that i said your wrong because my sources are better, also i wasn't using my sources as proof rather i was asking for proof for the brothers claims. and i never had a problem with anyones views or opinions i just asked for evidence that is actualy evidence. but i think no one wants to continue talking about this lets make it constructibe like the sister said.
anyone know how to help bros when there inside or when they get released?? any legit islamic organisations doing any work in this field??

both really, just trying to find out what there is for muslims in prison/released. not so much about rehabilitation in the usual sense i.e work training, housing etc but more the islamic aspect. the org in america is tayba foundation - they educate muslim prisoners
theres a vid on zam zam academy about them

British Muslims don't commit a lot of crime
Unlike their European counterparts

Muslims commit a disproportionate amount of crime in Europe. Groups like Moroccans, Algerians, Somalis, Turks, Iraqis, Syrians, Lebanese and Afghans are overrepresented in the crime figures – sometimes dramatically. This is true in Belgium, the Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Germany and France.

But is it true in Britain? The answer is widely held to be “yes”, based on a table that periodically goes viral on social media. The most up-to-date version of that table is shown below.

As you can see, Muslims make up 18% of the prison population in England and Wales, despite being only 7% of the general population.1 Hence they are overrepresented by a factor of 2.6. End of story? Not so fast.

There are two straightforward explanations for the overrepresentation of Muslims in prison. And most of the available evidence suggests that British Muslims actually don’t commit a lot of crime.

The first and less important reason why Muslims are overrepresented in prison is that there are a sizeable number of foreign nationals in British prisons who are Muslim. The single most-overrepresented group is Albanians, who comprise 1.5% of all inmates.2 However, the overrepresentation of foreign Muslims can only account for a modest part of the overrepresentation of Muslims in general.

The second and more important reason why Muslims are overrepresented is that a lot of people convert to Islam in prison. There have been numerous reports on this phenomenon, some of which run to dozens of pages. Suffice it to say that converting to Islam in prison is extremely common. Most prisoners who convert do so in search of meaning or belonging, though there is also evidence of bullying and forced conversions. The disgraced Duke of Marlborough claims he converted to Islam to get more food.
