Another great Scholar has left the world!
Hazrat Moulana Mufti Hanif sb Jaunpuri who was the special student and khalifah of Hazrat Moulana Shah Wasiullah sb Allahabadi ra (Khalifah of Hakeemul Ummat Hazrat Mawlana Ashraf Ali Thanwi ra) passed away this evening in Aazamgarh, India.
Inshallah Janazah salaah will take place tomorrow at 11am in Jaumah village (District Aazamgarh).
Hazrat Mufti Hanif sb was the Shaikh of Hazrat Haji Shakil sb db.
He is also one of my mashaikh of hadis. Hazrat Mufti Hanif sb رضي الله عنه studied complete Saheehul Bukhari 12 times under his Shaikh Shah Wasiullah sb. He had also been teaching hadeeth for 65 years in different madaaris.
May Allah forgive Hazrat Mufti sb رضي الله عنه and grant us a replacement of such a personality.
