Apologies, I'm unable to fix brother Arslans post and therefore cant split the topics.

@Jinn, Brother Arsalan quoted your post thus:

Quote:

Salaam.

Masha'Allah, hard-hitting post. Sadaqta wa bararta! (You've spoken the truth, And you have spoken good!)

Only thing I'd like to to say is that the fatwa posted by dr sahib was from Mufti EBRAHIM Desai, not Mufti AHMED SAADIQ Desai.

People always confuse the two. But it doesn't matter, your posts still stands. Its all double standards.

Salaam.

I had to remove Jinns quote but know I cant remember which post it was. Apologies.

InshaAllah, Maulana will dig into it and fix it.

A famous Deobandi Alim Moulana Muhammad Mahmood Alam Safdar Okarvi(db) writes:'Remember,as there is Ijma' of the learned people on the four Imams being Mujtahid.Similarly, there is also agreement of the learned people on Moududi,Dr Israr,Ameen Islahi being Mulhid(heretic)'.-Anwaraat e Safdar vol.1 Pg.36

Fatwa of Mufti ZarWali Khan (DB):

Q) Is it permissible to pray behind individuals who have the following Aqaid, “Jamaat-e-Islami”…

Mufti ZarWali Khan: Jamaat-e-Islami is a political movement so the correct question would be regarding those who agree with Maulana Maududi in Aqaid and Mufti Shafi (RA) has written in Jawahirul-Fiqh that a person should not pray behind them with their free will and happiness.

Dr Israr Ahmed (RA), some of his talks are weak but he is from Ahlul-Haq.

It is better not to pray behind Ahlul-Hadeeth and people of Bid’ah but if due to circumstances prayers is done behind them then it is better to repeat it.

The danger of leaving congregational Salah isn’t valid. Prayer should not be done behind Ahlul-Batil

So which of these two statements are correct?

  1. Mufti Zarwali Khan(HA) is not Deobandi or not learned?
  2. The ridicolous statement is OTT (over the top)?

Hazrat Mufti Zarwali Khan(db) himself said in a bayan that Hazrat Moulana Yusuf Ludhianvi shaheedرحمة الله عليه had written a series of articles in the Bayyinaat titled 'Silsilah e Israriah parwardah e Qadiyaniah'.If Hazrat Mufti saheb(db) doesn't call him Mulhid,it doesn't mean that other Deobandi ulama are wrong.Hazrat Moulana Ashraf Ali Thanviرحمة الله عليه would not consider Ahmad Raza Khan Barelvi kaafir, but his Khalifah,Hazrat Moulana Murtaza Hasan Chandpuriرحمة الله عليه would call him kaafir. It's because the kufr of Ahmad Raza Khan Barelvi was not clear to Hazrat Thanviرحمة الله عليه.No Deobandi can prove that Hazrat Thanviرحمة الله عليه stopped Hazrat Moulana Murtaza Hasan Chandpuriرحمة الله عليه from doing the takfeer of Ahmad Raza Khan Barelvi.

Hazrat Mufti Zarwali Khan(db) must not have researched the deviation of Dr Israr Ahmad,so his stance in this issue is weak.If one likes to follow Haqq, not nafs,he should take the stance of ulama who have researched the deviation of Dr Israr Ahmad. In the issue of Shiaism,Hazrat Moulana Ashraf Ali Thanviرحمة الله عليه would refer the seekers to Imam e Ahle Sunnat Hazrat Moulana Abdul Shakoor Lucknowiرحمة الله عليه,because he had done research on that.

  1. Shaykh (Mufti) Rafi Usmani (HA): There is room for disagreements with his opinions and we did but there is no doubt about his sincerity. Indeed he was an extremely sincere person and we have lost a sincere soldier for Islam and Pakistan.
  2. Mufti Zarwali Khan (HA): Dr Israr Ahmed (RA), some of his talks are weak but he is from Ahlul-Haq.
  3. Shaykh (Maulana) Aslam Sheikhpuri Shaheed (RA): Even those who oppose him admit that Dr Israr Ahmed (RA) never compromised on commandments of Shariah and marriages of his own children are testament of his consistency in following the Shariah. I (personally in my experience) have found his adherents to be consistent in following the Shariah and respectful towards Ulama and Mashyakh.
  4. Mullah Omar (Ameer of Taliban): Officially hosted Dr Israr Ahmed (RA) as the Guest of Emirate of Afghanistan and Vice-Ameer donated his car for Dr Saheb to be transported around the country, very few Deobandi Ulamah who even got accorded this privilege

So all of these are IGNORANT and NOT DEOBANDEES in your opinion? That they are saying this for someone was a MULHID and a CONSENSUS on this?

Everybody else: This guy is arguing that there is a CONSENSUS of OPINION on the HERESY of Dr Israr Ahmed (RA), read the comments yourself!

@Muadh Khan.Your ignorance is crystal clear. You are trying to hide it with the veneer of hypocrisy. You are trying to cause damage to Deobandiat by relying on the weak acts of individuals. You are a Tablighi at heart and Deobandi in body.No doubt you wrote a blog exposing the deviation of Moulana Tariq Jameel saheb, but when your inside Tablighi woke up,you tried to make up by criticizing the Fatwa of Hazrat Mufti AS Desai(db) against Moulana Tariq Jameel saheb. You are a snake in the grass.Would you dare to write against the wrong views Tablighis are spreading? Why double-standards?

Please maintain respect for each other and Ulamaa (if topic is about a scholar) by avoiding accusations and slanderous comments. Also remember that in order for criticism to be constructive, it must be channeled in the right direction. If there is any doubt in a matter, it is better to ask, clarify or to remain silent rather than to speak ill of another person.

(bism1)

wa alaikum assalam
I dont intend to say that he was too wrong to be listened at all. I want to say that some of his interpretation of quranic verses were quite strange. This is why I avoid to listen to him. If he was a right person in your eyes then it's your personal matter.

I know that he was dedicated to spread the message of Quran and undoubtedly, it's praiseworthy but it's also a fact that he committed mistakes as no scholar is infallible.

If you think that he never interpreted any quranic verses in wrong way then I'll be compelled to display the faults of marhum in my next post, InshaAllah

He respected ulama e deoband though, yet he wasn't a deobandi as such.
