the reason i am asking because in my childhood i learnt islam is built upon five pillars.

Aqeedah clarifications are as follows:
What is Belief:
What Imam Tahawi (RA) means that "legally" Belief is indeed:
This means that if a person becomes Muslims and dies without doing a single action he is regarded as Muslim and its simple and straightforward to understand. The second explaination is that we don't make Takfeer (declare them to be Kaafir) of people who do bad acttions. Both of these are hallmarks of sects which Imam Tahawi (RA) is trying to refute.
Point 58 refutes your understanding that Imam Tahawi (RA) considers actions outside of Eemaan and the text is as follows:
ولا نَقولُ: لا يَضُرُّ مَعَ الإِسْلامِ ذنْبٌ لِمَنْ عَمِلَهُ؛
58. Nor do we say that the wrong action of a man who has belief does not have a harmful effect on him.
Infinite Existence:
Imam Tahawi (RA) has categorically stated that Allah (SWT) is FROM forever and WILL BE forever as this is indicated by this statements:
قَدِيْمٌ بـِلا ابْتِدَاءٍ، دَائِمٌ بـِلا انْتِهَاءٍ،
5. He is the Eternal without a beginning and enduring without end.
لا يَفْنَى وَلا يَبـِيدُ،
6. He will never perish or come to an end.
Everything else has a "beginning".
But some of these creations "may" last forever e.g. humans (whether they are in paradise or hellfire) while others may also "end".

, said: "Allah Almighty said, 'I have declared war on anyone who shows enmity to a friend of Mine. My slave does not draw near to Me with anything I love more than what I have made obligatory on him. And my slave continues to draw near to Me with superogatory actions until I love him. When I love him, I become his hearing with which he hears, his seeing with which he sees, his hand with which he strikes, and his foot with which he walks. If he were to ask Me for something, I would give it to him. If he were to ask Me for refuge, I would give him refuge.'" [al-Bukhari]
, said, "The halal is clear and the haram is clear. But between the two there are doubtful things. Someone who abandons an action, being unsure whether it is a wrong action or not, is more likely to abandon one which clearly is. Someone who risks doing an action, being unsure whether it is a wrong action or not, is more than likely to fall into one that clearly is. Acts of disobedience [to Allah] are the private preserve (hima) of Allah. Anyone who pastures animals around a private preserve is on the verge of entering it.'" [ibid]
or at least try to wear loose, modest clothes which identify you as a Muslim.

Everything besides Allah (SWT) has a BEGINNING, once begun:
But the creation is different to Allah (SWT) because all creation has a BEGINNING

Which country do you live in?

Good so let me ask you something.
When you take your Exams there is minimum which you need to do to pass and then there are extra stuff which you can do to get extra marks. How do you prepare for your Exams?
And if your friend does the EXTRA and gets better marks do you complain to the teacher as to why he received better marks when you and him both DID WHAT WAS NECESSARY?
This cannot be undone and I am sure it will be greatly appreciated.
Please wait...
