Masha'Allah good post brother Muadh_Khan but there is a misunderstanding, I never said or implied that you left because of misuse of language. If that had been the case, I would have posted such a 'theory' here rather than on the random thread.

Actually, my message was to the moderators to be fair to everyone and not let some things go just because no one has reported the post while others are publicly reprimanded.

Alhamdulillah, learned a lot about the history of the forums though - jazakAllah khayran for that. I don't know about any of the rumors or theories that you've mentioned since I don't have connections in the circles you've mentioned... for which all I can say is alhamdulillah.

There really was no need for anyone to make assumptions about my post and fire off an e-mail to brother Muadh_Khan. As a sister who clearly sees things differently and thinks differently my advice is: get a hold of yourselves and recognize that not everyone lives in your heads, thinks the way you do, has grown up the way you have, has the same friends and connections you have, and not everyone who thinks differently does so because they have had some exposure to a different forum (i.e. SF). Confusing people and reprimanding them like little 2 year olds is really unbecoming, hurtful, and rude - especially when the person steps up to offer their time and assistance... it doesn't matter who invites who, whether a person is hanging on to MS by a string and you're scared they'll leave, whether you know their dad or mum, or whether they are your spouse or sibling.

Brother Muadh_Khan, you are absolutely right about certain communities being insular. The funny thing is that I feel the same way about Turkish communities. If this was a research project, I think the data would be speaking volumes... lots to analyze masha'Allah... may Allah Ta'aala grant us all understanding. Ameen.

Colonel has made his point very clear, so please let's not continue with this, lest it leads to further speculation.

I think some of you guys take your online lives a bit too seriously. Relax all.

Maybe I'm just looking at things wrong or something but I don't know what's their to get all serious about ?

Anyways, since you posted the rates, I can safely say that my thumbs down are to Ghair Muqallids and guests, so far non of the members, including the Apple thread have been given a negative thumbs down. Negative replies not included ;)

Yet I've been hit hard on the Apple thread (now MuftiSays Gadget Guide) and also hit ny the GM's

Oh well! Life goes on.....

As the other posts states, let leave it now.
