Waalaikumussalaam wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu Maria canim:

This would be the correct place to share information however I don't think many of us are in a position to comment on the reliability of the site or source itself (i.e. answer the question). I did however, do a preliminary/quick search and am worried so insha'Allah lets let admin and authorizers with more knowledge and experience decide.

Okay honey api Acacia, I await their response. If no one is able to confirm the reliability of sites then I'd refrain from posting next time. In sha Allah.

Canim, but they're looking out for you and us all too insha'Allah.

Yes, I would actually advise you to also refrain from the site until you know it is reliable insha'Allah... your choice ultimately though canim.

Yes, they're strict but they're soft- hearted as well.

I hope you'll find them as your own real brothers/sisters who, affectionately, take care of youngers.

Maria canim, I've updated your OP and put the link back in. Insha'Allah MS members can help with your questions (sorry, I have no clue about the linked source).

Thank you for being understanding and patient.

السلام عليكم

It seems to be a reliable website.

At first I thought it was daralhadith.lefora.com/, which is run by Ulema who follow the Shafi'i Madhab. Some of which are students of Shaykh Taha Karan. But the blog you posted is a different one.

Do not categorize people who favour Mawlid as Bida'atis, because there is valid ikhtilaaf in this matter. I read 10-12 articles of that blog, it seems to agree with taqleed, so it aint salafi. It doesn't look like a barelvi site either. It has contents of all madhabs.

JazakAllah khayran for taking the time to review the site in some detail brother Umar123. I noticed brother Umar Italy (of SF) has it in his list of reliable sites too.

I don't do. As I don't follow salafi's concept of Bid'ah.

It is mentioned in the blog that the scan of the hadith was posted by a scholar. I don't have the means nor the knowledge to verify it. I guess the hadith is true, the content does not look dodgy, but only a Muhaddith would be able to give a proper opinion.

In the same blog, there is an article cautioning against fabricated hadith in some mawlid works: www.daralhadith.org.uk/?p=2628
So I suppose he has taken the effort to verify the above hadith, also its written sahih. So it seems reliable.

Wallahu alam

جزاك الله خيرا

Just got this thought in my mind - Do the Arabic wordings of that part of Hadith which say "bless us with you" match the English translation? Is the translation accurate?
